Guy walking totally normally in no visible pain at all - "I have a broken spine, knee, ankle, hands, knees, toes, tail bone, pelvis ...." only moments later twisting around both directions wit ease.
Sargent Catherine "these are the people normal people don't like to deal with". She's right, God bless her and keep her safe.
She's still active. I was arrested by her in 2012 for DUI (worst decision ever) and she and the other officers really spoke to me about why that was such a fucked up decision. They're good folks in Multnomah County
I like that tall cop lady. She is serious and professional, but she's also compassionate when the situation calls for it.
Yeah definitely straight up no bs but caring at the same time. Its what a mature adult looks for to deal with
I love that chair. The perfect timeout for giant toddlers having a tantrum.
I love watching them rage and thrash out their life's frustrations in The Chair of Shame. Put in the corner like a bratty toddler 😂
I wish i had one when I worked in mental health 😮
And the crash hat to top it off 😂😂😂
As a court clerk (now retired) we never saw this side of things. We saw them after their arrest etc. There were frequent flyers who seemed to just not "get it". This is very eye opening as to the behavior of some people. The officers working there are amazing. Kudos to them.
Court clerk? You of all people should know then money DOES buy freedom! 😂
@@chicagorilla4983 Apparently! 😂
Honestly, the guy that was charged with domestic violence, 100% deserved to be put behind bars
Oh, honestly? Ok cool.
Right?! He said that he’s allowed to hit his children as long as he doesn’t leave bruises?! Wtf kind of thinking is that? He said he was trying to teach his child a lesson after being a run away for x amount of time.. I don’t blame the poor child.. I hope that the wife took her kids and left that man..
@@ryannmckenna Pshh, Settle down. My Dad would have me get a bamboo stick out of the garden to hit me with when I messed up. I can tell you it worked.
@@Randoverse Yeah, but both of you are messed up mental cases. So....
@@RandoverseDiscipline is different from beating your kids just enough to not leave evidence so your crime can’t be proven. I came from an abusive family that tried to kill me and I have a ton of issues and trauma because of it.
Anyone that goes up against Deputy Jeff Ford is foolish. He's all of 6'5" with broad shoulders and narrow hips. That woman tried to take him on twice and ended up in a restraint chair twice!
A lot of these people being locked up have the maturity level of a four year old.
I went to jail for 17 hours once in Las Vegas, for forgetting to pay my traffic ticket. Wanna know what I said while I was there? "Yes Ma'am." "No Ma'am" "Yes Sir." "No Sir" ACT LIKE AN ASS, get treated that way. Behave yourself and go home a LOT faster with no extra charges or time out in the quiet chair.
Good you want a cookie
@thegotti2917 4 u: 🍪
That belligerent woman reminds me of a three-year old having a tantrum!!
Which one?
@@linabasilisk1955 the first one. Screaming "I didn't do anything wrong"
With a lot more anger! She was lunging and other officers while being restrained! 😳
Virginia was a hardened alcoholic. She needed serious help. Her brain was pickled.
They are behaving the same way a 5-year-old refractory child would. They think they are tough by doing so.
There is a whole world out there that you and I are not part of... People with criminal tendencies believe in shows of toughness, defiance and violence, because it's the only legitimate power in their world. Being reasonable, settling disputes amicably, setting aside ones ego in the persuit of your goals.... in their minds this is for the weak and unworthy.
In short, being extremely immature and defiant, irrational, violent and a bully is how you make it as a petty criminal.
I love drunk, toxic, entitled, narcissistic adults strapped into chairs screaming out their rage and frustration 😂👍
As viewer from good old Europe: It looks like middle age.
@@matthiasfriedrich9534 Always very interested in your perspective, no judgement 😀👍
@@evangelicalsnever-lie9792I’m in the UK and we have the same
@Oooo-bi7bi thanks. It seems to me everyone who criticizes doesn't realize their own home's methods.
"Ignorance is bliss."
23:56 "Wave with my .357" was lowkey pretty hilarious.
If I were that cop, I would have been laughing my ass off.
The guy who said he broke his back, knee, and ankle due to an accident, he is walking around good. I cracked my ankle and I couldn't even stand up
You don't beat your child no matter what they have done.
In the isolation and detox cells there should be a large (tamper proof) message stating: Calm and Obedient will get you out of here FASTer.
People that can't handle alcohol shouldn't drink
True that.
If it were that easy.
i dare you to singing tonight i want to cry by keith urban for your family and friends please
All these officers are so well mannered ! And they have to work with these drunk rude people! I will place myself in house arrest and never ever show my face on street again if I go on like that!,
Because they’re on television 🙄
Even on t.v you can see they try to show power and take advantage of certain situations bunch of scumbags
Hear you👍🏼
That screaming banshee uttered what must be the 4 most used words in America” I DIDNT DO ANYTHING “ . How can supposed humans act like rabid animals?
Simple...
Alcohol and drugs
And many have never been taught accountability. What a child learns in their early years shapes them for life. I rarely drink but when I was younger I would frequent the same clubs. I was really looked after by the staff and bouncers because no matter how much I drank,I always remained polite and friendly. Alcohol usually brings out the real personality. I was raised by a mother who taught us the meaning of swift and definite repercussions for our bad decisions. I learnt from a young age that I wasn't above the law. Most of these people continually play the victim instead of taking accountability
I am not entirely sure how I am drunk but due to horrific childhood abuse I potentially am an angry drunk. I really hope that isn’t the case but somebody told me at one point that I was very angry and potentially rude while drunk. I am a very angry person due to various mental disorders so that’s likely a factor. I wish I’d been born to a different family or hadn’t been born at all tbh.
They should show this in high school let the kids know what will happen to them if they go against the law.
For sure
Kids these days aren’t afraid of the law, these are new millennium kids
That's a good idea.
@@Sook995I can agree to an extent I work for a school pd. Often the kids with the long referal list admin wise get involved in the vape pens, drugs, and run away. We call them frequent flyers. We often recognize them as the come in at least twice a month for a chargeable offense. Now we do have the kids who get caught and don’t do it again because having us there dealing with the stuff is enough to scare them or the kids are cussing us and being defiant. And I’m just a dispatcher the parents can be just as bad. I have been called quite a few things and I’m not even out in the field. I have noticed it’s worse with kids from a poor family life, or their parents are not great parents and downright shouldn’t be.
@@genstrong8575tbf I was a vape pen kid, but that was the only thing “wrong” I did in school
Sergeant Gorton is incredible. Wonder if she is still there? So much respect for all of these officers. Don’t comprehend how they do this day after day, dealing with the dregs of society & maintaining such professionalism.
Right! I don't think I could be that patient. And the anger! Some of these people are wacked! I've only been to county once in my life(disorderly conduct. I was a little too drunk/loud at a family reunion and the neighbors called on us. Said a few vulgar words and the sheriff wasn't having it. But once inside it was all laughs. Talked about ufc, woman, my smithing business ect.) I believe that some people do act out when drinking, and it's not there normal nature, but with others alcohol brings out the truth.
Shes on medical leave. She had her arm and occipital broken by a crazy inmate. She'll be returning from what I hear
@@kewlmanable thx for the update. Really sorry to hear she’s been hurt. Takes a unique person to do what she does; no way could I do it. Wishing her a steady recovery & all the best.
❤Yep… She’s my favorite too! 💪🏼✌🏼😎
@@kewlmanablewow,that’s bad.I hope everything is healing well. They need her. She’s a really good lady.
The one officer was trying his hardest not to burst out laughing at the guy thinking he was a rapper. 😀
Drunks are big babies… I like how these people are disciplined… its kinda late in life but EVERYONE needs discipline…
How you expect a drunk person to act? A lot of people refuse to function properly to know what discipline is. And a lot of people don’t want it and we can’t force the discipline in them
Sovereign citizens are big babies throwing 2-year-old child fits because they have an imaginary law or constitution.
@@dominicjenkins6003just a fact. Many drunks are whiners. Probably best to keep in mind BEFORE drinking.
It stinks that I've watched all of these before. I really wish they made more than almost 40 episodes. I'm addicted to these types of shows.
Those are exactly my thoughts too. Jail is a place that has hundreds of people a day going in there, plenty to film. I do understand that it takes time to edit etc but still, at least put 2 videos out per week lol I'm just being greedy 😝 can't help it, there just so entertaining 😂👍🇳🇿
I enjoy the youtube channel "cops TV", it's oldies but goodies lol.
This is the best cop show ever…😊
I must agree with you here. This is the best cop show even. I am addicted to watching this show.
Even though all these shows are from 16 years ago
@@raheempeters6813 this show is called jail this is only 30 year minutes long because it's not a show
Better than cops
My thing is, I watch this and go, I see this when I go to work. So why am I watching it?
#1: has that alcohol bloated face look...
We all need to see an interview with Sgt. Gorton to see what she is up too or still working at the jail. She needs her own show actually! ❤
I agree
To bad u can’t put a gag on some of these people….🤨
In Spades.
Duct tape
24:17 no one should help that punk kid
27:50 I love this lady she's absolutely awesome, her and officer Jamie and officer Nicole. There should be more lady officers like them. Thank you lady's for keeping it real 😅👍🇳🇿
James has such a compelling argument that he is not a racist or a wife beater! 😂 Too bad they threw such an innocent man in jail. 😂
10:00 Thats a lot of people in one cell.
I was in traffic court years ago and they brought the detainees in first, it was a rude awakening. I have not had a speeding ticket in 20 years 😬 I scare easily.
I like the whole step down explanation. So many cannot maintain and get stuck in step 1 or 2 😂
These officers r doing a good service. I salute all they do. They all need a pay raise for having to deal with these idiots
Officer Gordon❤ She’s the most compassionate officer I have seen. I wish you many blessings I’m not sure if this video is old but I’m always so impressed by her😊
The series ran from 2007 - 2017 IIRC. It would be great if the original airing date of the episodes was in the video description.
She is awesome
@@MrGrumpyGillsyeah I enjoy the episodes with Sgt. Gorton the most. Hope she is still enjoying her job and helping people. A little talk with her is gold to some of these people I’m sure.
I meant to reply to you and replied to @MrGrumpyGills instead.
Famous last words I didnt do anything!
Im so confused as to why james' daughter would run away, he seems like such a level headed well educated man😂😂😂
Right?! After the comment of ‘I’m allowed to hit my kids as long as I don’t leave bruises’… then funding out he’s in there for hitting his wife?! 🙄 what a joke. I especially loved the way he threw a fit as soon as the officer walked away from the cell… 😂😂
I really hope that the wife took their poor kids and left him. Pathetic.
They all say “I didn’t do anything’”
Did they realize she said she didn’t do anything wrong??? Yea right!!
Entitled kids. Daddy’s money. Lost generation.
"He got better quick". Imagine that. Sometimes you have to listen alittle. I know in that job with those daily intake numbers its nearly impossible but...
Las Vegas was great back in the day I've been working at the Las Vegas metropolitan police department for 3 years as a Sergeant it's great experience for me there working at the Las Vegas jail.
That first lady didn't do anything!!!..... in case you were wondering.
OK she's an idiot...but I still don't understand why they won't just tell her what the hell she's charged with???? Why all the damn secrecy?? All it is is petty control.
2:37 she’s still kicking off even though she’s strapped to the chair
27:04
👏👏👏👏👏
Give this man an acting job!! (I’m not saying he’s acting here) but damn! I’ve seen movie scenes like that! 😆
Officer Gorton is such a nice lady. She really knows how to deal with the inmates, she’s firm but also kind and understanding.
I couldn't handle all that yelling and screaming!! 😳
They should be made to watch their actions before court. 😂
I never realized how old this show was until I saw the computer setup of keyboards that haven’t been in use for over 15-20 years now.
The show isn't that old, original release was 2007 - 2017. The oldest episodes ~16 years old. I guess old equipment is common in police stations - in my country it's the same. Lousy budget I guess ^^;
Just because he stopped at red lights doesn’t completely wipe out his chances of hitting someone.
Corvettes crumble easily with impact.
These guys should give a disclaimer at first contact: This is the first time we’re meeting. We were not the ones of the street who arrested you. They brought you here and now I’m going to manage your booking process. You can make this easy or hard on yourself. It’s your choice.
Love Gorton. I don’t know how long ago these were filmed. I wonder if she’s still there kicking butt. She doesn’t mess around or take bull but she is always respectful to you. She says it as it is. She should be training staff to be like her.
I saw a comment somewhere that said that she does, but she’s recovering from an altercation with a violent inmate that left her with a messed up arm and broken optical… 😭 I’m glad she’s still there tho. Hope she makes a good recovery and gets right back to it. She’s the best.
Can't wait for Virginia's Sunday School class to see this video.
Watching the lady in training, you realise how much they need to know and learn. There is so much involved in working in corrections but once you get it, you end up really enjoying your job
Threatening a officer like that will only make things worse
😅😅😅😅 Daddys boy is now momma s boy!, he needs bottle of Nan!!😅😅😅
Wow that lady is ridiculous!!!
Much respect to the officers in these videos! The people being arrested you need to be ashamed of yourselves! And just give up the drugs and alcohol you’re already starting off at a deficit because you’re a jerk! Good luck!
I told my son when he started driving that if he did something and got arrested, don’t call me because I would not get him out. He never did stupid illegal stuff. After he graduated from high school, I told him if he wasn’t working and going to college, he could leave with only the clothes he had on. He went to church and got his education: morality and education is what we all need.
So only church goers are good people?
This show is great for laughs 😂😂😂😂
This show is Awesome Sargeant Gorton is so cool
Cant reason with someone who is intoxicated… I despise alcohol because of what I became when I hurt someone during a black out…
What a faker! He was even smirking! Nothing is broken.
hey at least the restraint chair in the texas jail reclines lol! way more comfortable than having to sit and/or lay down on the cold concrete or wooden benches that are too skinny to comfortably lay down on!
That is a lot of vicodin in that kid
This shaw Teach you to stay away from troubles
I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure the guy transported to the mental health hospital was on Dr. Phil… super talented but super sad 😔
Gal asks the trainer a question but yet she says im not here lol but keeps telling her what to do
It’s difficult to do this with a camera watching everything…she was prob a bit nervous.
To the lady screaming that she didn’t do anything: can you please scream louder because it wasn’t clear that you didn’t do anything!!!😊
Nathan actually has intelligence and brains, something these goofs in the jail don't recognize because they don't have any of that
I was watching this video about this guys been arrested ,i feel bad watching it an understand why they are in jail ,they choose it ,hope an ill be praying for them .🙏very sad .
That first woman is making a convincing case that she didn’t do anything violent 🤦🏽♀️
Ya sure you didnt do anything, news flash " the jails and prisons are full of people that didnt do anything." LOL
The guy at 24:30 on is a trip lol😂😂
why did they not tell her what she has done God help her.
All the officers are doing a great job.
Yes
For the cameras
46:15 When Steve from Blues Clues goes down the rabbit hole 🤦🏼♀️😅
The female sergeant is brilliant at her job. Not saying the rest aren't great because they are. Looks like a tough job.
Legend has it that to this day, she STILL... didn't DO ANYTHING.
The first woman was crazy.
My children and grandchildren has never ever seen me under the influence of alcohol or chemical and I am 70. I do enjoy a glass or two but refuse to give control of myself to alcohol or chemicals. It is very unwise to do and a very poor example to younger people. I pity those with lack of self control indeed. Stay sober for your self.
Well said! 😊
I love when the criminals say, " you're not gonna do this or that" how's that workin out for ya??? Lol!
Love Jail!!

It's so funny how offenders, act, the guards all so friendly, and fair
The guy with the wrist tape on. I swear I've come to the conclusion that he definitely possesses Hefalump! Pooh would be so disappointed in Elephants like him! Go to your tree and fetch some honey. Just a spakling! Shoot I got lost for a minute. 😂

It sure was swell to see John Larroquette in that first segment
This feels like Beyond Scared Straight
Stanislaus County jail looks awful and dilapidated.
i’m pretty sure they actually shut that jail down after this
the man almost made me cry at fking 51:47
I’ve watched many of these series and there’s a total difference between cops from Texas and cops from Las Vegas. The Texas cops are a lot more aggressive and mouthy than Las Vegas cops. Las Vegas cops are way more patient and understanding than the Texas cops.
The staff are great but I find it strange that adults in their twenties are given leeway because ‘ they are only kids’ .
James, James, James...you want to bring everyone down the pit that is your level, babe?
Hahaha no one did anything.
Awesome job, Sarge!
Good grief, CO’s could make this a drinking game, and sell it! They could retire early, just off this game! These videos are a great tool to use for sobriety!!
I love this show
Love Officer Ford.
