Plus you arent exactly correct about the norm that everyone wants a catchy song with a melody, those type of songs are no longer really popular as recent examples can itself prove it, current norm of edm would be audio library songs, which is where most youtubers get their music sourced from, and unfortunately they don't promote ncs music
Although you're not completely wrong, ncs had messed up the contract with tobu big time which led to his songs being taken down
@@handupandu6000 What is this people's distinction between "quality" and "catchy" btw. My dudes, if something is quality, it can be anything from downtempo to dubstep and it will still be catchy. If it's crap, you'll fall asleep or get a headache. "Caramel" may be just "happy dance music" but the way the rhythm evolves is similar but quite distinct from other yellow circles, so I can't call it generic. Even if it is, it still works
Now the last few months there were a few pearls but also lots of mids that left me really unimpressed. I know most of the NCS library and a lot beyond it, the recent entries are rarely what I'd call quality and most of them seem to be about chasing Chad and crying over Chad. Like ok, it's fine 50% of the time but not 90% of the time
