She also discusses her literary inspirations, the idea of collapsing eras and identities, the musical choices she made for this album, and how she feels more full of joy and inspiration than she had in years.

Polly is so wonderful. I'm loving the new album and hoping we get some great recorded performances of the songs.
Can't wait to see this album performed live. Some of my favorite performances are on Jools, Leno, & Letterman. What a great thing to look forward to this year.
I really want to enjoy a concert performance, Polly and her band on stage with this latest work... let's see if I'm lucky and play as close as possible to the Canary Islands. But it seems to me!!😅🤞🏼
