fun fact: there's a chip in the game you can purchase which disables the ability to rack up gears using the rhythm dodge, and the description is a message from peppermint saying that the chip is useless, and made it to test if Chai actually reads the descriptions of the chips. i found this today and i'm like 4 hours into the game. i love this game.

I bought that chip without even reading the description and equip it. It took me about the end of the game to buy another chip to notice the description.

Fun fact about the Coffee machine only doing Decaf: There's a log in a secret room of a previous level from an angry worker who said they were going to make it only do decaf.
I got a hard chuckle when Korsika mentioned the machine only serving Decaf because of that log.
It's one of the funniest gags in thr game, especially because it's brought up twice in the main game.
love how the game rewards people who read that, I forgot about the lines of the decaf and when I watched someone read it and get to those part it was pretty funny

My favorite joke in this game is the coffee machine. You first learn about it in a optional lore piece hidden in a secret area, with a fired employee setting the machine to decaf out of spite. Then they reference it in dialouge twice!
And it’s even referenced in the animated credits

I'm so glad to see someone freaking out over Korsica's boss fight as much as I did.
It was SUCH a fun experience! The way her combos combine with her theme through different time signatures makes the attacks SOOOO satisfying to parry/dodge!
Honestly! Even after a month I still think about it and listen to the OST! It's rare that I remember something like that for so long. I still truly believe it is one of my favorite boss fights that I've played!
After the whole level of build up it felt so cool to have that confrontation where you're circling each other, and then as the tension rises the strings come in... so fucking awesome

The only bad thing about this game is that not enough people are playing it.

Before their synchronization, 808 and Chai had a single braincell between two of them. After synchronization, they still only had one, but now they had to share it.
Love how even thought this isn't his first playthrough, the game still makes him laugh uncontrollably.
it is his first I think, the outfit is from the deluxe edition which gives the stuff after the first stage, still a joy inducing game though

I watched one of my housemates play Roquefort's fight and then pause for a straight five minutes. My guy had a crisis.
Mhm yes, Roquefort is a very tough boss, of course you would need a few minutes to mentally prepare yourself for fighting a difficult opponent

the way this game was made makes me just want to watch it over and over and over and over, AND OVER, and a tiny bit more.
the humor makes it incredible, the cutscenes are well made, the characters are charismatic as hell, and they have the charm that a lot of games don't quite use, the individualism created by their personality, which makes it incredibly realistic
it's the type of game that makes me want to see every youtuber's reaction, from start to end, and I really hope more games are made like this
