Kayaalp is my hero but tremendous performance from Mirzazadeh. He did pretty well last year too against Riza. Still, Riza will remain king forever.👑
Congratulations to the Iranian wrestler
Last year Mirzazadeh was explosive af but significantly lacked strength compared to Kayaalp. This year he lacks slightly in agility but totally made up for it with his much improved strength. He is just so stable, especially his legs. I've always felt that while Riza has tremendous upper body strength, his legs seem disproportionate to his upper body which makes him less stable in many fights. I think that if he wants to win the Olympic gold next year, he needs to significantly improve his lower body strength. I could be totally wrong since I am by no means an expert but this is just an observation. I'm kind of glad that he lost this year because had he went into the Olympics with this conditioning, he wouldn't stand a chance, especially against Lopez. Maybe this loss will awaken him from his recent successes and motivate him to work extra hard for the Olympics next year.

All due respect, if you knew Amir Mirzazadeh enough and where he is coming from, you would never close your eyes to him in 5 minutes an 55 seconds ! But good luck to the reporters! Kayaalp is a real world star. One of the phenomenal wrestlers with lots of experience. Amin Mirzazadeh on the other hand is a young and enthusiastic wrestler. From minute 4 you could see clearly the inspiration pattern of these 2 champions. It was obvious that the young champion is much relax. And, Amin comes from Bakhtiyari roots of Iran. The people who are known for being calm enduring fightets.

I think Kayaalp's loss wasn't due to bad luck it was related to his age related conditions.
Reza is 33 years old, and it's natural that if Amin puts pressure on him in the final minute, Reza would tire physically.
I believe Reza's best opportunity was when Amin lost his balance, but Reza couldn't push him out of bounds and score at least 1 point.
And if he would have won it would be called experience 😂

I am Iranian, but I have deep respect for Kayaalp. He is a great champion, but age related conditions are a serious concern.
I believe if Amin can improve his physical condition within the next year until the Olympics, he even has a chance against Lopez. Lopez will be 42 years old at that time, and he will likely tire in the final minutes of the match.
Reza will be 34 years old at the Olympics, and his situation depends on his physical conditions. But with the current conditions he has, I doubt he can become a champion at the Olympic.

This is an even fight, but i still think that Kayyaalp is the better and stronger of this two, but his not smart enough. He tries to lift up such a huge guy like in their last match, but it never worked. It takes him so much energy, that he hadn' t at the end. Thats why he lost. Yavaş yavaş yaş farkı devreye giriyor belli ki son saniyeler de Rıza tükendi resmen ama 2 0 dan hem de 6sn kala maçı vermek çok üzücü...
