EW keeps evolving. The amount you get for the subscription is insane. Hollywood Strings 2 is another great library, with great dry sounds you can modulate more easily with plugins of your choice if you will.

This is really cool! I’ve been using the EastWest sounds for music albums I’ve been composing and I think this new string collection will sound really nice in my next one. I kind of wish this “behind the scenes” video would’ve included footage of the actual recording session for the samples, but I’m just a bit of nerd that way, sample library creation fascinates me

EastWest is definitely my favourite sample library developer! I'd love to see follow ups to Ra and Silk with the quality that Fantasy Orchestra has, because there really aren't many very high quality ethnic libraries out there.
Ra changed the way I made music, since it came out. I owe a lot of my sound to it

I expect we will see both Brass II and Woodwind II in the near future.
Saxes would be great, along with other less traditional instruments (e.g. Flugelhorn); and better trombone slides & rips (like Mahler's 3rd Symphony, 1st Movement).
Woodwinds II would ideally include a wider selection of clarinets (A, lower F - La, etc.) and extended range Bassoon (the opening of Stravinsky's Rite of Spring). A heckelphone would also be nice (the only Vienna instruments I have are Heckelphone and Basset Horn; the latter to cover the F Clarinet range common in Mozart compositions - e.g. Gran Partita).
In classical pieces, reverb is good, and beautiful, but in pop songs it washes out. It is best to have a naked sound, and add the reverb of your choice later, like convolution reverb, or no reverb at all, and delay instead, or chorus instead.
That's not possible if the naked track master itself is recorded with reverb that you can't get rid of or change. Our band is constantly evolving, and where I used to do Classical and Traditional instruments, now I have been directed to take our music into EDM, or Techno. I hope to add some Metal to it as well.
None of my music would be possible without ComposerCloud on every song. If I may make a suggestion, please make some EDM stuff for us Bedroom Composers to compete with the DJs that never picked up an instrument. Thank You all involved, for this Masterpiece.
