Just graduated. I have not seen the main clinic like this, ever. The lights seemed even brighter at midnight.

I can not advise this enough...to any young person strongly considering dentistry...i really would strongly consider do something else. Dentistry is not good.

What about oral surgery? I'm thinking about becoming a surgeon. My doctors saved my life. It really sounds awesome to be able to get paid to help people. Sure every career has its downs, but you have to love what you do.

@BennyClydel Oral Surgery and Orthodontics are the most "non-dentist" like careers in the dental field. While of course they come with stress as all professions do i believe they do not contain the vast spectrum of stress that a dentist deals with. And I believe that they can offer a tremendous profession if you have the courage, strength and intelligence to get through the intense long education pathway. I am sure you can...best of luck!
