Hi everyone. Thank you for your feedback. We are truly grateful for your interest in our airports. To answer your questions: We are unfortunately not allowed to add sound to the live stream. The cameras are originally put up for pilots and other professionals to see the weather and the horizon so we cannot change the angle to show more of the apron. However, we will make more videos that show you how we work. For now, we will not add more cameras to Nuuk but focus on other airports. We have noted your wishes. Also, we hope you like that we have made the weather box a bit bigger, so it is easier to read.
I would really like sound too, I often have the the channel running while I do other things at home and sound would mean I didn't miss the landings and take offs 😊 especially the helicopters as they are the easiest to miss.

A webcam at the South end of the runway, pointing north or north-east toward the terminal would give a better view of aircraft approach and departure, as well as take-offs and landings. I frequently visit your webcams and thoroughly enjoy the view, in particular the South cam. However, the North cam is nice as I like to see the departure or approaches too. Greetings from Florida.

I would have to agree with @thewhite8uard about picking a small airport, but one that gets a fair amount of traffic. Kulusuk? Most larger airports would put the cameras a long way from the action.

I am a daily watcher of both the South and North cams for a few years now. The fact that the cams are steady (no zooming etc) is very relaxing, even while working from home 🙂 With the future extended runway my choice would be the north cam where it is right now (I love the nightly approaches where you can spot the incoming plane from miles away because of its bright landing light). What will be great to watch is a steady cam at the top end of south part of the runway where we can watch the plane taking off in the direction of the cam. Furthermore an overall view on the platform with Nuuk on the background would be super. Please keep in mind that when you consider a cam for the platform for privacy reasons it is maybe not permitted to show too much details of the passengers. Keep up the good work. There are currently two airports that can receive the Air Greenland jet (OY-GRL?), so both of those should get a cam, I think. I'd also be curious to see a "helistop". Sounds like a heliport with no amenities? I'd love to see coverage of one of those. Also, maybe a swiveling camera from atop the red and white maintenance hangar? Or at the expansion area at the fair south of the property? Just some ideas.

suggestion: for the Nuuk south cam, and north cam, can you move the AccuWeather box all the way to the lower left corner. Especially for the south cam, where it is better to block out that railing than the tarmac. Future cameras: Kangerlussuaq (most traffic), then Ilulissat (#1 tourist destination) for sure. A camera at Ilulissat would be great! Smaller airport, but still a lot of traffic. And we would also be able to follow the construction there, and probably see some icebergs in the fjord!
My wife and I enjoy the live stream. The North camera serves very little purpose now and I would propose that it be repositioned to get better coverage of the ramp when aircraft are parked closer to the terminal building and out of coverage of the current south camera. A small airport would be interesting for now. Please, tell IT department the weather widget is too small now. And please, the audio would be helpful to not miss departures and arrivals, especially those that are not on the schedule.
You can increase the size of the widget, by simply using your fingers on the screen (spreading thumb and finders from a closed position) this applies to any part of the screen.😊

Since I was informed Ilulissat is getting the same treatment as Nuuk with a New Construction of an Airport, I like to see a Live Cam from Ilulissat.

Kulusuk Airport or Pituffik (Thule Air Base) would be some nice additions.
A 180 degree panning camera scanning back and forth across the apron at ground level I.e above the terminal entrances would show alot

I like the North camera to see planes leaving and arriving. I can flip from South to North or vice versa to watch the plane total landing/ departure.
