I was with The Flushing Community Vol Ambulance Corp back in the mid 80’s Through the 90’s until I moved to Long Island where I Joined the Fire Dept, I enjoyed what I did as a Driver/ EMT, Working along side with NYC-EMS, Flushing & Booth Paramedics and Hatzolah I learned a lot and made good friends
my friend is a muslim, he lives in New York city. One day, when he is going to work, he got hit by car. Guess who came first ? Not NYPD, not NYFD, not even the public ambulance ... it's hatzolah.
Rotaluclac well with the way our medical system works any ambulance would. We can't transport or administer care in situations where we aren't dispatched. If something happens at the firehouse, we have to call it in before we can just transport someone.
Not to mention it's their right. It's not a public ambulance service otherwise it would be on 911. It's part of their beliefs to serve only Jewish people.
Rotaluclac it's not funded by tax payer money. Did you actually watch the video? They are funded 100% by donation. There is no city tax payer money put into it. If the Jewish communities decides they want to continue having this service, they pay for it themselves. They aren't even dispatched off of 911. They have their own private dispatch number.
Why are they all men? Why no women volunteers? Discrimination anyone? Maybe some Hatzala person can answer that? That said they do a good thing, and I support that even if some members abuse some privileges as that can happen anywhere.
Binyomin Silverman Dude we are talking about saving lives here! That's ridiculous! Anyway fact is Hatzolah men routinely treat women so... Besides the separate division for women is almost brand new and tiny and unprepared in most areas for most emergencies...
We dont need this kind of orginazation we already have the best in NYPD,FDNY and dozens ambulance that response already, they are just glorify they shoudnt have so many vehicles with lights and sirens
I don’t live in New York City and I am just now learning of the Hatzola but my understanding it does take some time for the NYPD and the FDNY to get there. What’s really important is to have First Responders to stabilize a patient to save a life.
Better than relying on commercial services who prioritize routine transfers over emergencies. It’s a better EMS system than what I’ve seen implemented many places

אלופיםםםםםםםםם
They got sum sick ass unmarked cars
Norwich CT could use Hatzolah. Should reach out to the Jewish community there and out branch to them.
only for the jewish right?
+Cobra no, they respond to calls for anybody. However, primarily the patients are Jewish.
For anyone.
@@expertfireemsproductions.1218 well yes thats true but that is because hatzollah is not very well known outside of jewish communities
Doesn't matter who you are ? Really ?

yes its true it doesnt matter who u are if u call them, then they will help u no matter what
Hatzolah would drive right past a dying black person and pretend they didn't see them.

If it's not a public ambulance service then it should NOT be funded by public tax dollars

Rotaluclac funny u say just called then let sat on their shabbath came in 60 sec to save to black drivers

there is a seperate division for women. the reason why is there are jewish laws revolving around mingling of the sexes

Binyomin Silverman btw can you quote me the exact law from the torah/talmud?
No it is a matter of custom from the Hasidic circles. I do not know the source though.
and their is a rule called מנהג ישראל תורה which means a accepted custom will eventually take the same level of importance as laws

@@jeffgeller2576 there is nothing wrong with little help and I like this idea of the Hatzola.
