Hey Sara, so sad you’ve skipped on Anne of Green Gables! It’s such a beautifully written book and doesn’t actually read like a classic at all, although I’d recommend listening to the audiobook, literally feels like a fever dream ✨🤍

I love how no matter how many times we read a book, we come back with different thoughts about it every time or forget some of the events that happen. Whenever I do a reread people are always asking "how do you always get shocked even though this is your 5th time rereading?" Like... HELLO lol

I LOVED House in the Cerulean Sea. I work with youth who have behavioral challenges and mental health issues and I saw so much of my classroom reflected in this book. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy when sometimes it's easy to dwell on negatives of the systems in place in our education system. Would recommend to anyone. LOVE.
The house in the cerulean sea is def on my top reads for 2023. It made me laugh and cry and I devoured it.

The audiobook for the house in the cerulean sea is my favorite audiobook. The narrator (Daniel Henning) did an amazing job with voices and rhythm. I highly recommend!
