I've been meaning to ask, the ride sticking from 9:00 is twice as fast as I thought it was but the way you play it sounds so much better. Maybe it's really low in the mix but it changes the whole dynamic of that section.

It's kind of hard to tell, but he is either playing 16th notes on the ride while accenting the 1st and 3rd notes for a more 8th note feel. Or he is just playing straight 8th notes. Actually the opening theme (0.38 to 0.56 roughly) should be played with kick drum over the snare as well (the so called disco beat) :) Nevertheless, awesome playing!

Wow, that was great! I've watched a few other covers of this song and although they were good I think this is probably the closest to the original version for sure. And I like that you didn't cut out the middle part! It might seem simple I guess but the length of that part is what would make it tough I would guess. I'm not a drummer but I could imagine you have to stay insanely focused, as it looked like you were, to maintain your precision...but I like how that part builds and only adds to the eeriness, especially when the open hi-hat part starts, sounds like some huge thing is walking, Eddie I guess lol
I'm learning to play the drums now and I can only watch in awe and only wish for the day I can do this ..
