I honestly don't know if you check comments or not, but this has been said many times from what I've seen in these Brair vids:
when your ult strikes a target, that target is the ONLY one she will chase until either you or the one struck is killed unless you cancel it. if you don't stop her yourself with an ability, she will chase that struck target from one side of the map to the other, fountain to fountain, completely ignoring EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING else.
26:50, zwag, it wanted to "chase shaco so bad" bc Briar's ult frenzy is different from her W, it will continue until the target the projectile hit is dead or you cancel it, and will not switch targets no matter what, even if they tp or recall, until they are dead.
It bothers me how much people refuse to read and understand mechanics. Everytime he says something like "i cant stop" or "im inting" i bash my head against my hand
@@CallMeSaltyScorpionYou do realise that Zwag is a content creator and is showing the good and bad aspects of a new champion. Not being able to retarget an ability seems like a bad aspect. Considering Zwag does a lot of videos about builds, I think he knows about the mechanics.
Indeed Zwag gave the same info on his first video about this champ. I think he finds the loss of control aggravating as he tends to like playing more skill based champs.

He says “there were people closer, I don’t know why it wanted to chase shaco so bad.” In briar’s ult text, it says that when her ult hits a champ, it marks that specific champ, and the ult-empowered blood frenzy will chase down the marked champ until death (either the target’s or hers).
This isn’t the first time that Zwag has voiced confusion about why his ult frenzy isn’t switching targets, either. I truly think he doesn’t know. And that’s the frustrating thing that the commenter was pointing out, because as a big League creator that’s doing all these videos on a new champ, you’d think the least he could do is read the abilities carefully and make sure he understands them.
@@vmams if you get pressed about someone not reading info correctly youve got some mental issues. I couldnt be assed with anything that isnt a REAL problem. The fact that this sort of thing effects you emotionally shows how terminally online you are. Literally who gives a shit, you know how her ult works so just dont make the same mistake as Zwag its that simple. Why does someone elses errors effect you emotionally?

zwag, the ult's blood frenzy can only target the one hit by the hemolith. You can use w while in ult blood frenzy (losing the bonus stats) and q onto another enemy to change your aggro
Source for this? Im pretty sure thats not how it works. Pressing w again doesnt change aggro or lose all the stats
@@maxsimes it doesnt. R takes priority over W and as you guessed doesnt get canceled. You will stay on R target regardless of Q. You could cancel with E, then W and Q to refocus tho (and lose the stats)
W does not cost you your bonus stats.
32:40 is a perfect example of how these Briar videos have brought out the best in Zwag. He normally has such command over the games that introducing a champion that basically has a mind of its own is the perfect formula for comedic chaos. These have been some of the most hilarious and entertaining League content I've ever seen.
I think a build that maximizes her movement speed is necessary, so that she can finally chase the enemy 😂😂😂
Navori increases the damage of your bleeds if caused by your effects. So it's probably her chase mythic. Because you are almost always applying them by W or R. This Also works in Brand Stacks and Darrius Stacks.

Zwags aiming on cross map ults is hilarious, like the accidental hits are the best 😂😂
I feel like a Phantom Dancer would have been better in this game rather than an essence reaver. The essence reaver bonus damage is nice but half the items usefullness is waisted on brier while the PD would give attack speed and move speed while the W is active. Just my thoughts thous, love the videos zwag keep up the good work!
Zwaaaag i made a crazy af broken Briar tank & shred build, like im being dead serious and all you need is:
Glacial augment in the runes
Frostfire gauntlet as mythic
Tenacity boots
Black cleaver for more shred
Then you can build either bruiser or full tank afterwords.
I tried it in every lane and i think its the most fun build, like imagine an ult that glacials, then the frostfire slow to go on top of that, combined with even more shread from black cleaver and they basically have no resistances left as you and your team deletes them.
Im being serious you need to try it its ridiculous, even in support role its broken!!
I'm curious on how Infinity edge would have done on her for this. It could have been funny for her W to do 22k damage in one crit.

Gauntlet might work, because with E you'll proc it often.
Heartsteel will easily proc because you're ranged and fast. For the same reason Rylai's will be excellent for kiting, just like bruiser Ashe.
Spirit Visage synergizes with your E healing and shielding granted by Seraph's and Gargoyle. Extra points for building all three!

Sheen and her chomp proc together. Which is why her base ad is so low. Chomps + sheen does a ton of damage and heals based on the total - like Camille. Divine Sunderer is her best mythic for damage, however Jaksho is likely to be her go to mythic since it gives her the tank stats to live long enough while also giving you the drain effect.
Since she’s constantly alone with ult hullbreaker seems really good

Zwag you can change aggro with Q on Minions and Monsters, so if you chase somebody to your certain death if possible Q a minion or monster :)

SHOVIN SIVIR. Rush shiv into crit item of choice and then quick blade and jsut shove and take towers works top or mid. Runes take first strike and future market and insight. Mana flow and gathering storm

Zwag, can you test something, when you have ult and are self taunted on one enemy see if you can cast ult on another enemy before the first one dies to see if your ult will launch you away.

Say you bought QSS on Briar. Does that cleanse her of her berserk mode? Or a cleanse summoner spell?
Probably not, because her berserk mode is self inflicted and its own thing, while qss and cleanse work on stuff inflicted by enemy champs
No, it only removes Crowd Control Debuffs, but since Berserk isnt a debuff, it doesnt work, taunt is the counterpart of it and that works.
qss/cleanse will NOT cancel her self taunt. And if it does they changed it or its a bug.
