Hu Divya , When excessive water is given to succulents, more water is then absorbed and stored. But remember, there is no way for succulents to expel the extra water. They can but store. As the water accumulates in the leaves, it increases turgor pressure which splits them. Additionally, succulent leaves will split if the plant is in a potting mix with poor drainage . This also happens in rainy season as humidity levels are high

Hi Munmun, this is not a good time to buy succulents, due to high temperature, humidity & rainy weather. Keep them in cool dry place remove rotten part & keep check on watering .always buy succulents in the beginning of winters .

LED lights are gear toward providing succulents with very narrow spectrum of lights, effectively just one color. By doing this, they save more energy and provide less heat than CFL bulbs.General speaking, indoor succulents do not need grow light. If your window is full of sunlight all day then your succulents can survive well in summers without grow light. However, One can prevent those issues by getting a suitable grow light.
