Its been many years since Jack had fought some real enemies, so he was kinda rusted at the beginning while facing the daughters, prepared and trained all their lives to kill him.
They just lacked the one thing Jack had in abundance... Real world combat experience. They trained endlessly all their lives, yes, but without proper experience they were literally walking to their deaths against someone as trained and especially as experienced in combat as Jack. They got the drop on him, but the second he got a chance to take a step back and strategize? It was already over.
@@codafett We feel like the first 3 episodes have a way cooler and mature tone to them. All of the advertising that got people super hyped for it, only showed stills and scenes from those first 3 episodes. Kinda like they knew... I personally didn't like the whole Ashi thing. Especially how she turned into a love interest (she's like 17 and severely mentally and emotionally stunted, and he is mentally over 70) only for her to just disappear at the end... The ending was so lackluster, that they pretty much retconned in the video game that came out a few years ago.

Jack is that guy fr
Yeah, peak Jack with his sword would probably stomp them like he did with bounty hunters team. Not as fast and easy though.

Damn I’m going back and watching this whole series.
I would liked them to have maintained the tone of the first 3 episodes for the rest of the series
I don't know. Maybe yes maybe not.
Same, I feel like they baited us.
Why? Jack has to win eventually
