Sc300 4.27 diff, there is 2 driveshaft flange sizes between SC/LS years so make sure you get the correct one. There is solid adapter guibos that can work.

I have a ‘97 ls 400 with a welded diff. I like it and all but it’s my daily so I was wanting to get the diff swapped. What would be the cheapest and most efficient way to do this? I have a mechanic that can do the work

A tire change and welded stock differential does the same thing 205 50 16 is tire on my 1998+ and it’s a lot faster in low end mid range.
So all you had to do was change diff covers and it was a direct bolt on?
those diff mounts are hella sketchy my boi, not strong enough for punching the throttle with v8 and welded diff

Hey Flexus! I want to put a PROPER Limited Slip Differential in my 95 LS400, any advice on the swap?
You can swap in a 98-00 ls400 rear subframe then run a kaaz lsd with a 98-00 ls400 diff or a Supra lsd, the other option would be making front mounts like I did in this video and run the diffs I mentioned
