I am an old man. Tears come easily for me when I see and hear something as beautiful as this. This concert was made possible by countless hours of practice, sheer determination, thousands of kilometers traveling in a van across Europe and Japan, months of anxiety when they couldn't get hardly anyone to their beginning shows, battles, negotiations and switches in record labels/management and discouragements when songs they wrote were rejected. Blood, sweat, tears and laughter brought BandMaid to this moment and in typical BandMaid fashion they ended with a celebration with the fans. Truly the concerts are servings not in name only but in reality. BandMaid is worthy of my tears!
Man, I felt that. I know how it is to put in countless hours of time and work with nothing to show for it and with nobody helping. I'm in that position currently. Well, I WAS until a couple weeks ago lol

As 72 year old disabled musician that can't play keyboards anymore. Band-Maid is my lifesaver. If it weren't for finding Band-Maid back in 2014 on Facebook I don't think I would be here commenting. Again as in the past 10 years Band-Maid is the most important band to music. I will always support Band-Maid until the creator takes me from this world. Great reaction as always.. This was the last song of the last concert of their 10th anniversary tour. The concert was 3.5 hours long. It got emotional! This was a thank you to the fans.
I discovered Band Maid in November, 2019... a month after they finished a US tour. Covid messed everything up for a couple of years, but I got to see them three times when they toured the USA in 2022 and 2023. I'm in my 60's and I've seen all the greatest Rock bands in their prime. (Zeppelin, Rush, Deep Purple, The Who, Yes, Styx, Aerosmith, etc etc) Band Maid are better than all these great bands, and maybe tied with The Who for my all time favorite concerts. On second thought... no, Band Maid is still the best band I've ever seen live. God Bless these amazing ladies.

In the "Bestie" video, you pointed out something REALLY important. Basically, you said; "Band-Maid's not trying to be something they're not. They're being themselves." AUTHENTICITY! Yes! I can tell how they act when the songs are over that they are just having a good time. Love it.
Personally, I find it strange that a group has my favorite pigeon, my favorite guitarist, my favorite bassist, my favorite drummer and my favorite singer.. it all smells like a scam from 100 feet away.
This song encapsulates one of the band's most important qualities. The reason why we maidiacs are so obsessive about our love for this band. From the beginning, they have written singalong parts into a lot of their songs (in really genius ways), they've had Miku's magic time where she talks (hilariously) to the crowd. One of their shows is an unforgettable thing, not just because of their musical awesomeness, but because they include us - the "Masters and Princesses" as if we're part of the team. And they always have. Combine that with their uber-positive but hard rocking music and you don't just like this band - you love them. I love Band-Maid and I know I always will. They have gotten me through thick and thin, making me happier when I'm happy, and less said when I'm sad. They are a miracle band.
They're holding their cards very close to their chest for this year outside Japan, but on the other hand they've promised multiple collaborations with international artists. I don't expect Mike Einziger and The Warning to be the only ones. I can't see them resisting invitations to major festivals if they are high enough up the bill to be able to fly in and out without adding a tour to make it economical.
Saiki has expressed a desire to return to Europe and Asia.
A "quick and dirty" way to do that and remind the European industry about themselves would be to support a major act.
It would have to be an artist/a who are good enough not to fear being upstaged. Pretty Reckless would be a good fit as they've already met.
Bandmaid's international booking agency are the huge United Artists who have all the crazy good artists, bandmaid are in the list between babymetal and badbrains.
So basically they can do this kind of thing at the drop of a hat.
They have a new álbum to come out but reading the interview with their recording engineer in the score book he refers to "Akane didn't used to have the stamina to record more than one track in a day but now she's happy to do three" . That's old school "when I was a lad in Abbey Road" workrate so I don't think the album is going to eat the rest of their year.
If they do a festival or two in the Americas or Europe I'd expect them to add some gigs to make it worth their while. Based on last year Live Nation seem to be able to sort this for them with very little notice.
So be hopeful. They might well do a gig in Mexico as they and the Mexicans adore each other and they are promised a rematch by the Warning. If you can sell a kidney that would be the gig to go to.
Glad you had the subtitles on for this one, I think you have enough of a feel for the band to get how emotional this was for fans. The verse at the end with Saiki on the catwalk was added forr this show as a special message of appreciation from the ladies.
I'm not even gonna mention it lol I'm just gonna start using subtitles if they are available.

It's a ballad to us - their fans. It is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. The reason Maidiacs love Band-Maid so much is because they give us so much in return. They really do serve us, and bring happiness to all of us. It is in our joy that Maidiacs are united as one. The love you take is equal to the love you make.

8,000 people-the largest audience they have performed for...wish I could have been there.
I think it was a bit more than that. Obviously not full capacity because that's for a sports event and they didn't sell all the top balcony out.
There is a new album coming out this summer, I would expect tour announcements after.

In the meantime you can get the Blu-ray of the concert. The whole show is fantastic.

They had a Christmas Acoustic show a coupla X'MAS's ago and there's a few songs from there that'll give you goosebumps - "At The Drop of a Hat" for one .... but, I'm sure you'll get to em sooner or later.

Band-Maid will come back to America. I saw them twice when they passed through Ohio and Michigan in 2023 and they promised they would be back. Once at an outdoor festival and in a small club in Detroit. The club show was amazing: they really interact with their audience and have a lot of fun. They have a wicked sense of humor and they have fun trolling each other on stage.

Would you believe that Lovebites will be in America at 300 to 500 capacity clubs? Bsnd-Maid and Nemophila played intimate clubs too. People would fly over from Japan for the opportunity to see them up close in a club.

If you like anime BAND-MAID do get commissions to do anime theme songs. They did 'Glory' for Yu-Gi-Oh VRAINS as well as the season two closer for the Netflix anime, Kengan Ashura. They also have a song called 'Unleash' in which they appear in anime form.
They luv us in the U.S. they will be back but I think it’s cuz we have the best BBQ.

They do have some songs that don't go hard. Their Love Letter to the Fans during the COVID Clampdown, 'About Us', as well as other ballad style songs like 'Memorable' and the acoustic versions of 'Puzzle' LIVE and 'Sayonakidori'.

They toured the US in 2018, 2019, 2022, and 2023 and they will definitely be back... but no one knows when. After their next album comes out, surely. But it's been years since they played Europe, so there's a good chance they do that first and don't come back here until 2026. Get yourself a crystal ball...
I feel Band-Maid's longevity and success will become Endless Stories in the annals of Rock ‘n Roll history! COUNTDOWN TO THE WARNING 2-MAN CONCERT!!
