Teeth of the Dog Golf Course at Casa de Campo in La Romana, Dominican Republic is considered one of the best golf courses in all of the Caribbean, and is consistently ranked in the top 50 golf courses in the world.. While its length, windy conditions, and tough greens make it a challenging course to play, the beautiful views created by this ocean front course are incredibly stunning. Many shots require a skilled player to hit it over the water, or to not hit it the wrong direction into the water ... but this is were your caddie comes to help. At Teeth of the Dog Golf Course, while most still choose to rent a cart, caddies are required for each player. Your caddie will help you with anything you need, but most of all give you advice on club selection and the best way to play the course.
Teeth of the Dog (or Diente de Perro) was opened in 1971 and was designed and built by Pete Dye. Since then Casa de Campo has added The Links Course (1974), La Romana Country Club (1990), Dye Fore (2000), and recently Dye Fore Lakes.
