  • Is it good to regret? The Hebrew word naham can mean to regret, to repent, and also to comfort. Rabbi Cosgrove explains how the relationship between these apparently contradictory meanings allows us to learn and to benefit from our mistakes.

Rabbi Cosgrove's sermons lift you up! He brings many sources( Like language, history, personal experiences and odds & ends.) He then puts them together so eloquently! He makes the Torah so approachable to a modern audience. This is a special quality he has for this congregation & anyone listening. His sermons will make you a better person & are a highlight of the Shabbat service at this congregation. Kol HaKavod- all the honor to you!! 🕎

What accounts for the increasing support of Jews for Republican candidates who espouse anti-Semitic views? In the 2022 elections, 33% of US Jewish voters polled voted Republican, up from 30% in 2020 and 24% in 2016. This is hard for me to understand in light of increasing hate speech from such Black Americans like Kanye and Kyrie.
