Between you and Garden Addicz, I am not afraid to buy clearance. I just bought at Lowes, a clearance yellow twig dogwood bush!!!! It is doing great! I have bought many plants through clearance over the past 2 years and if they look bad this year, they will come back next year and the year after...
I love clearance plants. I love the thought of caring for something and making it healthier again.
Almost all of my plants are clearance plants. I've gotten a few specialty plants that were not on sale but the larger part of my plants, flowers, shrubs and trees are from clearance and I have a lot of plants and gardens in my yard!

Yay to half off Arborvitaes! You cleaned them up nicely and they look great where you planted them. LOVE the Lemony Lace Elderberries and I don't even have words for the soft Blue tree you added - SO Pretty! We've had lots of rain here too (eastern panhandle of WV) - I've hardly had to water this season. Thanks for all the videos - I'm sure filming adds to your work load, but I love following along with all your exciting progress. :)

These are my absolute favorite trees I'm addicted to planting them!! I already started digging holes for the next ones even though I can't plant for another week or two!!
Two of my four newly planted 6' tall emerald green arborvitaes started to turn brown near the bottom, I feel confident now in trimming them after watching you trimming and cutting your arborvitaes, and I will take your good advices in taking care of them. Thanks for sharing.

The tractor supply is my favorite place to get amazing deals on plants! I'd say that 75% of my gardens are from there! I do get some from the nursery but they NEVER have any sort of sales and are ever more expensive this year. I've gotten a few from walmart clearance too.

Wow I can’t wait to see some snow on them we used to live in Michigan and we had some they looked beautiful specially for pictures 🙂🙂You can’t till that some are shorter than others great job.Wow Your grass has gone a long way I also did some work on my backyard with some grass but since we live in Texas it is starting to die but I planted more seeds so hope it comes back
Very nice. That area is turning into a very pretty natural landscape. All of thise trees will keep your soil from washing away also. Have you considered a flowering tree? Maybe a dogwood or a crabapple? Something that won't make a big mess though. I think that would look pretty in that corner you're still deciding on.

Goodmorning, beautiful trees. I believe those trees will be fine. You do an awesome job nursing all your plants, trees and bushes back to life. I've planted 20 dwarf burford holly. I need 16 more dwarf burford holly. I'm waiting for the store to get my order in. I planted them along my concrete walk way. I can't wait to see how it looks when it's all finished.
