It took me a long time to realise that SA doesn't have a xenophobia problem, just a problem with ILLEGAL foreigners. if you are legal, then you are good.
I dont ever see comments about xenophobia when ICE is deporting illegal immigrants or when they keep them in inhumane deportation camps. Or when China guns down people illegally crossing the border. BUT when South Africa fights illegal immigration then we are all of a sudden xenophobic. If we were so terrible then you wouldn't have millions of undocumented nationals fighting to stay here 😏. You can skip us go to the UK or US.
