Man that view of you in a trench that wasn’t shored a lot was scary. At my house a builder died in a trench half that height do to shoring incorrectly. Stay safe man. Good review and exactly what I was looking for, thanks
That would be very traumatic, sorry to hear that. Yeah it was a bit sketchy after we removed the shoring. But the ground was really nice clay. Thanks for sharing and watching
Cheers
That OSHA violation is real. Be safe out there. A disturbed clay breakaway is deadly.
Cool video, and I watched all your Milwaukee videos as I just upgraded to all new power tools from them. I like your delivery and you seem like a cool, chill guy. New subscriber from Michigan.
Thanks Clifford ! Happy you like the video. And thx for the sub
We are going live tonight if you have any questions about anything
Cheers
Dude, bench cut that trench or shore it. Safety is your number 1 priority.
use mine all the time, connect a 3/4 or 1'' hose and you will get great output from it. clogging up is a real issue though. I might drill bigger holes in the suction
M18 is now out!!!! Don’t settle guys.
The m18 unit looks pretty sweet
That thing is massive
Use this stick pump into a bucket that has the sump pump inside it
With the float lifted up
Was it flowing better with the bucket modification?
Yeah definitely, the trick is to keep the clay out.
👍👍👍
Do you know what the diameter of the filter is? Cheers - great vid 😊
Milwaukee stick pump SPECS #milwaukee #tools
Nice one thanks 😀
If u can mske it long from short will be good
So its useless in texas for outside use thanks for the information
Basically. Wonder if a wet dry shop vac can help clear small jobs.
What about leaves in a pond or grass?
Leaves and grass can clog it up, but it’s pretty easy to brush them off.
Of course it's going to slow down the higher you have to pump and clay would be a problem for many pumps
True and true. But I was curious, it’s still a great pump regardless
1:55 Yikes no shoring!
Yeah, I wouldn’t even have tried to pump a ditch out with that, use a diagram pump
Normally I wouldn’t, but it had to be tested 😬. I think it’s a handy tool to have, but right tool for the right job is key.
Woulda shored up that trench!
We had but this was after the fact.
This is the comment I was looking for.
OSHA would be sending you fines that will ruin you.
No shoring.
Water in the trench.
Spoil pile is scary close.
I’m amazed you put this video up …..
In all fairness your pumping dirt slurry too , you test in bucket with zero head pressure, then blame the 12ft of head pressure but not considering the fact it’s jammed into a mud hole ???
No transfer pump can handle that mud, get yourself a trash pump buddy
I have a couple Honda trash pumps, I ended up using a simple sump pump in a bucket, worked for the little bit of water down there. I new the m12 would have issues but I was hoping it would work and blow my mind. Worth a shot though
Cheers
The head of that thing makes it a NO for me. I work in Water Utilities and the head on that thing is way too big.
How small do you need to be ?
@@hammerandhome How big is that head in its circumference?
dude. where is your shoring.
12 feet down in saturated soupy ground. No problems here 😳.
Very scary
