I don't think you could have made the story any better or more emotional. I shed multiple tears through this, especially at the end. I can relate to this a lot, and you did an outstanding job with this story.
That was a lovely and touching story. It was so sad to hear about Thomas's driver passing away like that. It made me think back to when my Mum passed away in 2016. It's true what they say. Even if they aren't with you anymore, they will always be there for you in spirit.
This was very well done. I also like the character growth in Thomas here. Because in episodes like down the mine, he didn't care about his driver at all. but this episode shows he has grown up since then and they'll always be friends no matter what. Very well done Richard 👍
Honestly, now thinking about it, these engines make lots of friends, but they dont stay around. The engines can live for so long with proper care, but humans only have so much life to live before they pass away themselves. It gives me the thought that this sort of story is more than common in their universe, where the drivers, firemen, and railway managers pass away, and yet, the engines are always heartbroken when it happens, no matter how young or old their human friends may be.
My grandma passed away on October 26 2020 I miss her and this story Reminds me of her but I Remember her advice always behave and be a good boy and that’s what I did and I miss her and this is so emotional and a good story good job on this.
My Uncle passed away on October 27th 2021. This story reminds me of him. He was the one who introduced me to Thomas the Tank Engine! I really miss him. NWR1991's version is much better, because it is so emotional!
My grandmother is about to pass away. *sniff* So me and my family decided to visit my grandparents' house one more time. I can't even get the sad feeling out of my head. Before we left to Texas, my dad first told me about my grandmother, which made me heartbroken. Please, share your thoughts to me about your grandmother/grandfather. :'(
When Thomas found out that his driver was terminally ill, I suspect that it could have been cancer. If you compare with Bill and Ben's saying 'Coughs and sneezes spread diseasels', cancer is even worse than that.
TheIndonesianIndividual you did magnificent job on this extremely beautiful sad story. I was crying a long with Thomas. You should be making the Thomas and Friends TV show.
1:21 I like that Percy looked like Jack Frost a bit. And I like how this story reminds me of Henry’s Forest but more emotional. I also like the extra detail that the engines were matching the same expressions as Thomas did.
A beautiful, beautiful adaptation my good sir! And the music... Hoo Boy... It really adds something to it! Keep up the good work, and happy railroading my friend! -Jonah Snyder
I've never been one to feel much with sad stories, but my god I felt something during this one. That lost shot with the picture of Thomas and his Driver on the old oak tree really added feeling to the story. I can't express how good of a story this was. Well done.
A driver or firemen is just like an engines best friend or brother. Losing them would be really sad, this remind me of my Aunt who passed away back at 2018. I miss her soo much now after watching this.
I never thought the consept of death could be used and be explained in a way that would work in TTTE but now I can say that I was WRONG and I'm happy about that.
All of my few cousins died too, my uncle paran, and my favorite teachers both died two and my ancestors from Africa they passed on too for a long time.
i get the feel of sadness in the story of this, i never know this episode before but you can makes me feel something new from all of the Thomas series, namely sadness, your work is very good pal🙌🏽
So I was making "The Tales of Mainland 4" The movie which is adapted for Richard Jordan was "Thomas & The Old Oak Tree" and that's what I based on the stories.
3 years ago, in 2020 my mama died of cancer, and I blamed myself or it because growing up I didn't know how to help her whenever shed fall and my dad would blame me. It hurt to blame myself, but I just did. But now I'm 18 and I no longer blame myself for her death and she's in a better place.... Heaven!
I miss my aunt that passed away due to some food trouble and stuff they had to put her down... Then I went to my first funeral crying but I still miss her and this story tells me just like that
This story was really emotional. The music from Love Live made the episode feel more emotional with its tone. You really made this episode feel serious, but have a nice heartwarming message. The end was perfect with the image. I almost shed a tear watching after hearing the news. Great work and Can't wait to see what you have in store for the future!
IF I WAS AN ENGINE, AND HEAR MY DRIVER WOULD BE VERY SICK I OLSO WOULD BE SAD, LIKE HIS DRIVER WAS THE MAN WHO SPENT MOST OF THOMASS LIVE. HE WAS WITH HIM SENSE HE WAS BUILD, HE WAS WITH HIM WHEN HE CAME TO SODOR, AND HE WAS WITH HIM HIS WHOLE LIFE. THIS IS A SAD STORY BUT ATLEAST WE HAD A HAPPY ENDINEG :)
If only Season 6 or 7 did something like this (or if Alcroft and Mitton decided to write at least one last episode together before having to leave) it would have shown HIT the importance of an Engine’s crew not just because of railway realism also because the crews are the engine’s friends.
Tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree, it’s been 3 long years do you still want me, If I don’t see a ribbon round the old oak tree, I’ll stay on the bus forget about us
My grandfather David Richard Ludwig passed away in 2020 on March 7, 2020 he passed away in the hospice my life is so hard without him and Cousinsnot long ago just 1 day ago 1 of my Cousins friendsPassed away my life is so hard without grandpa
This is sad. The story made me crying. And I was so sad that Thomas’s driver died. I remember Michael Angelis passed away. It was sad that the people love Michael. Mattel did a worst thing. We need to stop Mattel. #StopMattel #StopMakingANewSeasonOfThomas
Wil you do a video of thomas remembering Timothy his brother and tell his story about him and Timothy and his brother and sisters and cusens to the other engines and the fat controller puts up a picture of thomas Timothy and their brothers and sisters and cusens so thomas will remember then and will it be titled the backstory of thomas and Timothy
Was a pleasure narrating for you man! Great job :D
You're a very good narrator.
Yes, you are a very good narrator
Yes, you are the best narrator
You have a really great James Voice!
Wow thats Depp
When they announced his driver passed away and Thomas started crying I found myself crying as well I felt so sorry for the little blue engine😢
That's the Most sades stories i have seen😢
🥺 Omg the way you made the story was so heart warming I especially loved the ending with the picture of Thomas and his driver.
It was beautiful
I "m sad too 🥺
This is a great story, reverend awdry would be proud

I don't think you could have made the story any better or more emotional. I shed multiple tears through this, especially at the end. I can relate to this a lot, and you did an outstanding job with this story.
Henry and James are feeling sorry for Thomas when he cries about his driver's death and they give each other a sad look.
That was a lovely and touching story. It was so sad to hear about Thomas's driver passing away like that. It made me think back to when my Mum passed away in 2016. It's true what they say. Even if they aren't with you anymore, they will always be there for you in spirit.
Well said. Also I'm sorry about you mum.
Well I’m so sorry for your loss your mum she is a nice person
As one who has recently lost a loved one, i completely understand what Thomas is going through
I just want to say that I really think it was a great idea giving the engines the lamp headcodes.
This was very well done. I also like the character growth in Thomas here. Because in episodes like down the mine, he didn't care about his driver at all. but this episode shows he has grown up since then and they'll always be friends no matter what. Very well done Richard 👍

God….I’ve never ever cried at a Thomas story before. But that ending did it. Bravo
I was crying when the episode ended
My grandma passed away on October 26 2020 I miss her and this story Reminds me of her but I Remember her advice always behave and be a good boy and that’s what I did and I miss her and this is so emotional and a good story good job on this.

Thomas was the only engine to have a speaking role in this story.
I knew they were going to say that about Thomas the driver passing away
This reminds me of when my grandma died 30 minutes ago, and it literally sailed me away in tears.
I know how little Thomas feels.
This really is a wonderful story. 🙂 Well done.
I knew later on in this that thomas's driver would die and it was sad to the ears
I legitimately cried all through the video. But a very heartwarming ending. Great job!
poor Thomas, how sad he lost his beloved driver !! I'm sorry Thomas !!
This was a very heartwarming and emotional story. I enjoyed it very much. Richard Jordan really has a true talent.
Never in my life have I ever cried to a fanmade Thomas video this just heart touching
When Thomas found out that his driver was terminally ill, I suspect that it could have been cancer. If you compare with Bill and Ben's saying 'Coughs and sneezes spread diseasels', cancer is even worse than that.

One thing I enjoy about this adaption is how it differs from Carson's version by having other engines share the grief with Thomas as so hes not alone
This is one of the saddest things I’ve ever seen. Good job!
A beautiful, beautiful adaptation my good sir! And the music... Hoo Boy... It really adds something to it! Keep up the good work, and happy railroading my friend! -Jonah Snyder

R.I.P Thomas’ old driver
A driver or firemen is just like an engines best friend or brother.
Losing them would be really sad, this remind me of my Aunt who passed away back at 2018. I miss her soo much now after watching this.
Thanks ...Im going through a depressing time and needing this

Heartwarming... such a touching story... wish this was an actual episode
R.I.P the driver 😞🙏
Is somebody chopping onions next to me or is this tugging at my heart strings
This is what Thomas need, not big world big adventures or season 25
He need a mature storie
I cryed my eyes out 🥺
i get the feel of sadness in the story of this, i never know this episode before but you can makes me feel something new from all of the Thomas series, namely sadness, your work is very good pal🙌🏽
I love the added detail of the engines being concerned at the sheds and reacting to the news about Thomas’ driver

The fat controller being nice to Thomas even though his driver passed away I don’t believe it
i cried at this so much
This was an absolutely fantastic episode and a great score to go with it. Your use of music from various shows really helped compliment the story.
Iam crying this was brilliant
I'm not crying, you are.
(ramdom guy):no you are (blows his nose with a hankchif)
Holy Yohane above that was really touching
Rest in soul for the driver
Beautiful story. It makes me feel so emotional.
Damn. This story’s beautiful. SOMEONE GET ME A TISSUE!.
How did you make something so emotional, this was Stella work and TramEngineStudios narration was beautiful! Stella work!
Cryed during this it was so emotional but at least we know that his driver can Rest In Peace and even if they are far a part they are still friends
well this got mature and very dark. Consider it so since it's from the same guy who made Sodor The Dark Times.
I miss my aunt that passed away due to some food trouble and stuff they had to put her down... Then I went to my first funeral crying but I still miss her and this story tells me just like that

I just lost my guinea pig to old age today and how Thomas reacts to being told his driver passed away is how I'm feeling right now, ice cold.
way to stab me in the fuggin heart man
I nearly Cried, this is definitely an emotional tale but very well written and perfect for the series
I genuinely tear up every time I watch this. Just goes to show how much heart, soul, and passion went into this video. Amazing work!
This made me cry 😭

From the AEG reboot.
Amazing adaption!
I hate to be that guy, but exactly what song did you use for the credits?
James being in the background :o
If Thomas's driver was old, then shouldn't Thomas himself be old and clanking like Edward used to do in the Edward The Blue Engine stories?
Why did james and henry had color eyes

Wait does James have yellow in his eyes... or am I just imagining things?
He does
I'm experimenting giving the engines colored irises
It looks light brown to me.
