Recently Generic motors built the c8 Vette that has more HP but the C8 is new and the Gt350 was built 6 years ago. My built automatic begs to differ. Full manual valve body and does exactly what I say when I say and our feet can't out move a little valve speed for speed. However the manual is great in a work truck and is for sure more fun hands down.
Growing up is realizing they both have their use cases...not gonna want a manual rwd car if you're needing to haul a family in the rain or even in snow! Keep it in the garage until spring

It’s also reliable becuase it can save you time and work to drive the car. Ie. manuals are pains to drive in traffic and make your foot sore and that’s when an automatic transmission comes in clutch for you to rely on.

Manuals aren't better any more in terms of speed and holding the power. BUT long term they're usually more reliable. Rather do a clutch than have all the electrical issues and clutch packs and torque converter wear. Manual is much more fun as well.
Except when you’ve made the mistake of getting caught in stop n go traffic. THEN the stick gets old really quick. I still prefer my gt350 to the gt500 BECAUSE of the stick.
It depends on the car. I have a collection of both, I’d say it’s a balance, some cars are better suited to Auto whereas an M3 for example is better as a manual, same as your Mustang👌🏻
