Man... I remember watching this fight week very closely as I used to see Cannonier as the dark horse of the division and the dude who'd put heavy hands on Izzy.
I was really rooting for that dude, consumed each and every single interview, showed support for him everywhere, and when the damn time came the dude did not show any sort of agression or initiative
Imagine working so hard to get there to just freeze and make a boring fight. :/
The dark horse of the division is Dricus Du Plessis and he's also the true african so dark horse rings more true

Cannonier was fighting to not lose, he wasn't fighting to win. Anyone who says the fight was a snooze fest is just a casual, who knows nothing about high level striking. Izzy was trying severally to set up Cannonier, but kudos to his team.... Though I believe the fight could have been more exciting, don't blame Izzy, mw contenders are afraid of being embarrassingly KOed by Adesanya, so they fight way too safe.
Watch the Gastelum and Perriera fights, they were fighting to win.

I think Adesanya is a great kick boxer has great strikes .The thing i dont understand is everyone who fights him gives so much room to kick and strike i think if anyone has a chance to beat him you have to tie him up like Khamzat did to kevin holland get on him fast hard and tie the guy up for f sake dont give him room to strike and kick .I want to see him fight Khamzat .
