Dr Niamtu, thank you for all you do for this community. I'm due next week for a lower face lift, neck left and Blast both eyers. My post op orders from my doctor say to lay flat with three (3) pillows as you recommend. I have watched so many of your videos and hope you get as much satisfaction helping as we benefit from your teachings. Please keep helping as much as possible. Wish I had found you sooner as I was already committed to my doctor here in Maryland and she seems to do good work as well.

I am due to have a deep plane facelift on 22 Feb 2023 and am so worried about my sleeping position.
You are the 1st Dr who said to sleep as you like.
I was trying hard to train myself to sleep on my back but I failed miserably, after each attempt and 2-3 hrs being sleepless and just got back to my left side and doze off.

I have had a facelift previously and I will telll you that I slept on my back with my heard elevated on AT LEAST two pillows, if not three. It was worth it for all the money I paid for the facelift. Why do anything that might be detrimental to the final outcome and jeopardize the results?

but what about the incisions - wont they get disturbed if u sleep on them like on your side?
They are generally covered by a small elastic bandage that wraps around the head. Using an airline pillow, but putting your ear in the opening allows side sleeping without pressure on the ear or incision.

I hit my forehead on the wall and I had this small bump, and where I was there was no ice so I tried using normal room temperature water on it but the bump even got bigger and bigger then when I stopped using the method it went down a little bit and I thought it'll get off completely day after day but it's been 4 years now and I still have it on my forehead and last year I actually got ice and tried using it on the bump but it grew where big to the extent I had to go to the hospital and the doctor said it was bad blood he just cut through my skin a little and got some blood out but even up untill now I still have the little bump still there.
Please any hint on what I could do???
