It really means a lot to get on the treadmill and go along for the ride/walk with you during these dark times. The day we get our 2nd dose of vaccines, I will schedule our next trip down. The street are alive with the mural paintings. I like the colorful murals really adds life to the streets. I see holiday shoppers are out and about.

Nice video! Can you give us an inside on how much of the island is still damaged by the hurricane a few years ago? And the properties who are damaged, are those mainly houses or also shops, restaurants and so on? In this video the mainstreets seems to be repaired for the most, thats good to see.
Front and Back Street is mostly repaired. Right now most shops are now closed due to the Pandemic. Island wide there are still some houses, businesses that have not been rebuilt. I pray one day those homeowners will be able to get back what was once their homes. Here is a link to official data on the recovery plan for SXM. www.sintmaartenrecovery.org/
