This type of eye make-up is by far my favourite for this spring and summer. It's youthful, modern and very easy to recreate. In my opinion, it looks great for daytime, not just for the evening.
I like that there's a lot more light in this video than in some others, I would've loved to see a little more detail of the finished look show off the final outcome a little bit more :) Love this short tutorials

I love constructivist and it's so pretty- will recreate this for sure! But I have really oily eyelids and even the paint pots don't last all day, I also tried layering but sometime I would like to just wear constructivist on its own because I love the colour.

Love MAC PAINT POTS. very handy as an eyeshadow base. smokey eyes or used alone for a quick eye makeup as it blends seamlessly; great & speedy for busy morning routines esp for busy mums :) x

could you do a video on different smokey eye styles that fit different eye- or face-shapes? cause I am one of these people who are scared about wearing a smokey eye, I think it looks so lovely on other people but on myself I always go for just an eyeliner and maybe a light eyeshadow. xxx

I have prom coming up and would love a smokey eye like this, but what would you do differently for night? I've recently bought MAC Naked Lunch, Omega, Espresso and Satin Taupe - are there any other shades you recommend for an occasion smokey eye? Love the video! :) xxx

Have you tried using a thinner layer of the paint pot. sometimes if i put too much of the product on my lid it tends to crease so i use a small amount first and then add another layer if i want more color intensity. hope that maybe helps a little bit!

I want to get a brown MAC paint pot but I don't know if I should get constructivist or quite natural. Nic, what do you recommend for olive skin tone with dark features?

Maybe it's the type of concealer or foundation you're using? I've got slightly oily skin around the t-zone area and around my eyes a little bit so the same thing tends to happen to me. The best things I've learned to make my paint pot stay put is to always always do your eyes before you do your foundation... and also to wear an eye cream daily! It really does wonders... just like how moisturizer makes your foundation go on.. eye cream helps the eyeshadow/cremes. Everyone's skin is different! :)
Beautiful. What is your favorite waterproof eyeliner for the waterline? Sometimes people that I make up get much tears because of their sensitive eyes and it make the eyeliner smudge directly (even the long lasting ones). What it your advice aside being super gentle and let the eyes blink? It's sometimes kind of tricky.

Do you have oily lids? I do, and by the end of the day paint pots tend to do exactly what you described. But there are a few ways around it if that's the problem.
They do have courses (look on their website for information), but they also have their own channel

Nick you look great 'in orange. i think in some of the videos you also wore some illamasqua lipstick...perhaps obey... that goes on that orangy peachy side. u just look fantastic with orangy notes. //sandra

I've dyed my hair red for a few years now and I never figured out what colour my brows should be.. can you make a video on this please? I usually fill them in with a dark brown shade close to my natural hair colour but sometimes it can look like i'm wearing a wig.. please help xx

I have the same problem, even if I set it with a powder within two hours it will crease & look messy. I have to use a primer underneath & the only one that works for me is the NARS Smudge-proof base. I agree it's annoying so I've honestly just stopped getting paint pots & I use the Maybelline Colour Tattoos instead.
I have a question for pixiwoo...I've never spent too much on makeup, but I think it's time to upgrade to some more high-end products. What are five to ten things you would recommend as must-haves?

Unfortunately on me paint pots crease on me soooo bad. I tried groundwork as my primer and my eye makeup ended up creasing after a couple of hours. Thankfully though I found a great primer by an Australian brand that is super cheap :)
I don't understand, why don't paint pots stay put on me? I have the very same one, constructivist, but after a couple hours it creases and looks a completely different color, lighter and slightly greyish... Do I need to put a base underneath? That's annoying, because the paint pot should work as a base itself...
Same with me. My eyelids are too greasy, no cream eyeshadow will stay put on me. Just good old primer for me.
