@@opalepeack Terrible animation, weird character arcs, multi thousand year old rocks acting like they're teenagers, stupid filler moments, wasted worldbuilding potential, uncle grandpa randomly inserting himself into canon story, white diamond arc short and her redemption boring, which makes a wasted main antagonist, the other antagonists are mid, with the exception of lapis in her taking all the water arc and jasper.
@@opalepeack So, by saying "mixed opinions" i say that in my opinion the show is far from perfect and has many flaws, and yet despite that, the music is great.
@@mysteryman8468 well, I still enjoyed it... but I think cartoons like Infinity Train do DESERVE more visibility than SU, even tho I love it, Infinity Train and SVTFOE are even better, in my opinion. And SU did have lots of flaws, even with its relationships, for exemple: I expected Lapidot to appear, and out of nowhere, Peridot is declared aroace...
@@opalepeack Star was really fumbled hard. Creators really bent their story to a community ship in an unnatural way. It had flaws even before that though. Never watched infinity train, but i know that star had even more potential than steven had, as we are talking absurdist multiverse instead of a structured universe with star, but i dont think star as a final product is better than the steven universe as a final product. Star fell off and two thirds of the whole thing are pretty mid at best, while SU kept up and even got more hype as the story progressed. Right untill toffee's defeat star is one of the peak shows imo, after the absolute disgrace that was oneshotting this hugely foreshadowed and built up villian in half a second the show went down into absolutely mid villains and mid stories, that were setup prior, but could have been done better than they were. Honestly it hurts me watching star, because i know it might have been an absolute masterpiece and instead ended up kinda good i guess? No opinions on infinity train tho.
