The all-new BMW 5 Series will be available in all-electric form when it arrives in Australia in late 2023, priced from under $156,000 - about $25,000 more than its arch-rival, the Mercedes-Benz EQE .
Three new BMW 5 Series variants are confirmed for Australian release initially - one petrol and two EVs - each promising to deliver an engaging drive, luxury ambience, more technology than a top-secret Silicon Valley billionaire bunker and, in the case of the EVs, enough battery power to travel almost 600km (including the hot i5 M60).
