  • Now, this Video is kinda overdue and finally here.
Now in 2 month I own the Ducati Multistrada 950 for 4 years.
I purchased her in 2018, after a long extensive research and a great test ride.
Now almost 4 years later and down 25k km I think I have a very good insight about the #Multistrada 950.
In this video I will tell you in details about the positive & certainly the flaws that the #bike has.
Be it suspension, ergonomics, sound, handling, engine or build - all will be in this video and more.
After almost 4 year I really have to say that I love this bike - kinda!
Yes in some ways she is an Italian Diva, but that is to be expected.
This #review will answer many questions and if not, you are more than welcome to comment and I will answer or even make a video to clarify.
I have many video is the making - suspension (detailed setup help),
My seat options, language on the Multistrada and much much more.
Yes I know there are many other good Brands out there, be it #bmw , #ktm , #yamaha , #honda , #kawasaki and soooo many more that produce very good #motorcycles.
🔴It would be AWESOME if you could show your support by both watching my videos and subscribing to my channel if you have not already done so. Many thanks for your support ! bit.ly/spokewanderer

I purchased mine December 2018, have 12000 miles on it. This is the best motorcycle I have ever owned. Allows me to do every kind of riding. And does all very well. On road off road track, sport riding, touring with pillion. I have done 8000 miles two up 14 days at a time with my wife as pillion in Europe on a rented Ducati 950MTS and after the first tour I just had to have one. We both enjoyed it so much I bought one, and we have returned to Europe 3 times and rented the same 950MTS. cons it can get hot, it is also a tall bike. Everything else is perfection.

Hey man, greetings from the U.S. and thanks for this review. I have been riding a 2017 Multistrada 950 for two years and I absolutely love it. For perspective, I've been riding motorcycles since I was a kid in the 1970s, and eventually I got caught up in the Harley craze. As each new Harley I bought got bigger and bigger, I found myself riding less and less...by 2018 I was riding less than 500 miles a year. I eventually realized I don't like that style of riding. When I saw my Multistrada at the local bike shop it was love at first sight. I knew that was what I'd been looking for. I'm now averaging 5,000 miles a year on my Ducati. I have to say, I pretty much concur with your evaluation of this amazing bike. The stock suspension setup is too soft in the front, too harsh in the rear. The transmission requires some getting used to and it is very easy to miss a gear if you are not familiar with the bike, particularly between first and second gears, and fifth and sixth gears. The motor wants to rev and not be lugged at low RPM like a Harley. The handling is exceptionally responsive to any physical input you give it, you can't take your mind off piloting the bike for even a moment. And yes, it is a damn sexy bike...I frequently get people who come over and ask questions or make comments about my bike. There is one thing I would add...I rode a Honda Africa Twin a few days ago because I was thinking about buying one, and I was struck with the difference between the two bikes. The Honda felt meticulously engineered, as you would expect, but it felt cold to me, it didn't seem to have a personality to it. The Multistrada, on the other hand, feels like a fine piece of art come to life, it is elegantly crafted and feels alive to me, absolutely loaded with personality. Ride on!

    • @spokewanderer
      @spokewanderer  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi to the USA!!
      Yeah the Ducati has personality!!
And considering that Ducati produces less than 60k bikes (all models) a year its kinda special to ride one!
Despite the edges that she has its the smile that she puts on our faces as soon we are with her!
She might not be that capable of off road than the Africa Twin, but riding gravel and fire roads goes very well!!!
      Oh and great detailed feedback!!!
      Many Safe rides to you!!!

For the regular action cam you can have different sticky mounts, depending on the view that you want to have. Same for a 360 camera. On helmets, check online for chin mounts. There are many different options. In regards of GPS mount, I have the Zumo XT and I have the Zumo Lock mount in combination with the provided Garmin mount. Hi Lac Mac!
      Very good point.
Original pillon seat is indeed not tat comfortable on long Rides.
For my wife I bought a air/gel couchon and that was the solution.
In regards of hight, that depends on you pillion. If your pillion is over 175 cm it might be a bit to high, also maybe uncomfortable for the legs.
I upholstered my original seats rider and pillion and that did the trick.
The pillion seat was slightly modified, so no more sliding to the front when breaking, especially during harder breaking. And after upholstery much much more comfortable for long days of riding, or even a several day trip.

Well, only in city traffic not that pleasant. I was riding in Croatia having almost 40 degree and no issues as long you drive!
And all motorcycles will feel hot in city traffic 😉

I do oil change in Europe every 10k km, here in hot climate every 5k km or every 6 month. Big service at 30k km and as per manufacturer interval.
