- Welcome to the World of Cunard, where for over 170 years, our iconic liners have been defining sophisticated ocean travel. We invite you to watch this video and see for yourself why Cunard's present royal court - Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth, are unlike any other ships, offering a superior, true ocean liner experience. We do hope you will join us soon for an adventure on The Most Famous Ocean Liners in the World.
It's nice to see that everything is still ship shape, and Bristol fashion...😇👑🌏🌎🌍
The Best Cruise Line Company in the world. That was great to see a bit of all three Queens.
Del Mac Cunarders are ocean liners, not those LEGO bricks of cruise ships.
Grandeur, elegance and magnifiscence in their true extend and meaning! This is Cunard!
The White Star service is a relic of the White Star Line, the direct competitor of the Cunard Line in the years 1900 until 1927 when the two companies merged.
They merged in 1934 and “White Star” was dropped in 1949.
So excited about my Jan 2025 transatlantic crossing from New York to Southampton aboard the QM2 and what some say is the most magnificent ship ever built!
My cat dog and I have a round the world trip on our bucket list.
One day I will go on one of these...one day :)
Hope you've went! If so how did it go
A deck officer. I eventually want to command a Cunard Vessel. My dream is become a Cunard Captain. FYI, I sometimes call the line Cunard White Star because Cunard & White Star are 2 of my favorite companies.
Tyler Frederick Technically, the name was Cunard-White Star until fairly recently since they merged in the 1930s.
simple stunning :)
I am going on the queen elizibith soon. About 5 weeks. So looking forard to it :-)
hope ur dreams come true :)
Wonderful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Gorgeous lady!

Where are you from?
I'm British, Currently in Wyoming, USA
Technically speaking, Cunard merged with the Oceanic Steam Navigation Company (the proper name of the White Star Line), and was known for many years as the Cunard White Star Line.
Today, now a subsidiary of American cruise interests, the company, known once again as just Cunard, maintains the White Star heritage with the White Star Service brand, which appropriately displays the old White Star pennant as the logo on all service oriented uniforms.
Why would Cunard want to promote a dubious association with a ship mostly known for sinking and killing 1,500 people? They don’t bring up the Lusitania in their “heritage” promos.
@@giovannirastrelli9821
To honor the line's heritage, which is far from dubious. They certainly promote the old Queen Mary, which is small comfort I'm sure to the 337 men of HMS Curacoa which she sliced in two.
@@Shipwright1918 That’s because Queen Mary didn’t sink and kill hundreds of people. Excuse Cunard for not fetishizing a major disaster like you do.
@@giovannirastrelli9821
Obviously didn't comprehend a word in the last post, did you? The Queen Mary did happen to kill hundreds in the accident I mentioned.
In the end though, sort of beside the point as I don't really have any issue with Cunard, how they do their business, nor how they choose to honor their heritage. I'm an ocean liner buff, not a social justice fanatic. You seem to have an issue, though, otherwise why did you ask me about it and then get all offended when I gave you an answer?
If you've got nothing better to do than sling insults at an 8 year old CZcams post, I think you need to find a more productive use for your time.
@@giovannirastrelli9821 The White Star Line was far more than Titanic. Plus, the Cunard had their fair share of horrific disasters as well (Lusitania, Lancastria, both Laconias, etc.)
I like the ships of curnard line
Really?!?!, you're WRONG the Cunard Line was shittier than the White Star Line, on Cunard Liners, third class passengers were treated like ANIMALS but, however, on White Star liners, third class passengers were treated MUCH better
You mean cunard line
@@danielsimpson6242 he is talking about the ships today dummy
I will Sail on all 3 Queens someday. Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria, & Queen Elizabeth, which I had the pleasure of seeing her in Long beach, California. I almost died a happy man. I am going to college in January, & upon my graduration, I am joining Cunard.
Hi Tyler
Ihave just seen your post from 4 years ago ! Did your dream come true do you work for Cunard .
Saw your comment after Three years. No, it hasn't yet. As of right now, because of the Coronavirus, I had to drop. I was a part time student. I still plan on Joining Cunard, but maybe do what Violet Jessop did, be a steward.
when i get the money i will be going on them
but why there is superduperfacts voice?
*if Cunard steals white star line’s ships*
Top notch voilà
Wow
One day...I will sail on any one of this ship.No matter as a crew or passenger. One day....
None can compare!!
Can anybody tell me the name of the soundtrack at 00:50? I think it is from Steve Jablonsky.
:O wow i mean wow this is fancy im impressed of your history white star line kept wrecking thhemXD thats why they went out
this feels like its gona hit an iceberg
does anyone know which songs are played in the video?
Would it be possible to book the Vennia Philharmonic along side my booking as well?
I thought they were playing the Titanic song there for a second...
need a vacasion
RMS Titanic technically has no real owner as such, since she in in international waters, although the current salvor-in-possession of the wreck, RMS Titanic Inc., has the exclusive right to remove artifacts from the site according to international salvage laws.
Cunard has no vested interest in her at the present time, and never has owned her, although at one time the RMS Olympic, Titanic's sister, was on the fleet roster along with many other ex White Star ships
Actually, the wreck is owned by RMS Titanic, Inc.
If only i could ride cruise i will only ride cunnard ships
song ? 0: 49
Escucha cunard es precioso este trasatlantico Queen Mary 2 pero porque no has hecho más barcos de ese tipo porque te limitas a mantener viva la tradición de los transatlánticos con un solo barco
I can't believe Cunard and white star merged, then broke apart. Then the Cunard became successful and the white star is no longer in business
+GameSlimia They never broke apart. They merged on the surface as Cunard-White Star & in the late forties, what was left of White Star was absorbed into Cunard.
dezboss This was a year ago. I realized that. But thanks anyways.
+GameSlimia Oops, sorry mate ;-)
@@dezboss Early 1930s. The British government agreed to lend Cunard the money to finish Queen Mary which had been languishing in Scotland, half built, as a result of the great depression. One of the stipulations of the loan was that Cunard and White Star merge.
Is wearing a suit mandatory to go to these parts of the ship?
Yes
Definitely
ritchieplatypus 7346 What if the suit I got was cheap and not expensive like a casual suit with tie and a lapel that’s notched not peak or shawl.
@@lexusdriver1963 on Fomal nights you will have to wear a black suit with a bow tie and a white dress shirt. On regular nights and events you can wear any suit but you have to wear a jacket.
ritchieplatypus 7346 Okay but no casual clothing except on downtimes right?
Titanic were a White Star Line's ship.
Of course. Both companies merged in the 1930s at the instigation of the British government.
"The most famous ocean liners in the world"
White Star Lines' Titanic: not so fast, mate.
The most famous ocean liners in operation today
since CUNARD bought WHITE STAR LINE in the 1930's, doesn't that make you guys the owners of the RMS TITANIC and such other WHITE STAR liners? same thing with the LUSITANIA and MAURITANIA, the two fastest liners in 1912. but those ships are long gone. same story with the CARPATHIA, the rescue ship of the TITANIC survivors.
Technically it was a merger, but they are the same line. Though they don’t own the wrecks of Titanic or Lusitania
@@sirboomsalot4902 Yeah, I kinda forgot about this comment. Obviously they don’t own the wrecks. I think I was thinking of the copyright of the ships? I don’t know. I was a kid when I posted this.
"Elegance"? Think not, more like "kitsch" . Only the Queen Mary2 comes anywhere near the quality of the former great ocean liners. Why have most modern liners become monuments to bad taste?
So true , very dull ships all of them .
The ships are nice. But beware lots of people have turned up missing at sea on cruise lines of late. The ships are registered in Bahamas so their police force has to investigate the crime. The last one that made the news it was said the investigator flew in stayed on the ship 1 hour interviewed one person and left the ship. Have fun but beware you cannot call 911 on a ship.
Roadmasterism well reading the first line of your message the missing have turned up!
Who allows these videos to "sell" the Cunard Experience? Cause, news flash - it ain't workin'! LOL
Seriously ... this video is clearly trying to appeal to an older crowd - the music, the tone, the wording - might as well call it "Senior Citizen City" .... Cunard should try to be more appealing to a wider set of passengers ... I have always loved ocean liners but, I'd be scared to sail on a Cunard Vessel in fear of being BORED to death! I am not asking for a tacky Carnival cruise (Though Carnival DOES own Cunard) but .. make these ships more appealing to a younger set. This 8min 40 second video bored me, how could I possibly embark on a 5 day transatlantic ? (And I have done Transatlantics 3 times and loved them - on other lines)
Christopher Lucki that’s ok stick with your own age group. You identified you don’t want to travel Carnival which has an appeal to a different age cohort. Each to their own and in twenty years you may like to sail on the Queens for a more sedate cruise. I can say I would have said exactly the same as you twenty years ago but now I am older appreciate the gentility of the Queens
Christopher Lucki youve “done transatlantic” but on other lines? How fucking old are you? Nobody else does transatlantic! You liar.
You’d not be bored on board ship, you’d be laughed at for wearing sweat pants to dinner.
