💞💓Love your reaction to Al Green! I’ve loved him since I first heard his voice back in 1970, still love him to this day💎💎 He was brought up singing for his Lord, his father told him that he could only sing songs for his church & Lord. Well they moved to outside of Detroit - guess what Al discovered - MOTOWN & when started singing at home his father kicked him out and then Al’s journey began! He wandered around Detroit singing here and there & formed a small band … a man that heard his voice told him I can make you a star !! That’s how it began and eventually he got tired of the life & he became a Reverend I believe in Memphis & still is to this day 😻. You should watch The Kennedy Center Awards when Al Green was honoured, it is fantastic! As well Al Green performed at The Kennedy Center Awards honouring Ms Tina Turner, it is very special 💞☮️

Al just took you to church, Dub! 🙌 This is my favorite Bee Gees song. I tend to always prefer the original of a song but this one - Al did his thing & made it his own. His voice is one of a kind. I'm so glad you did the live version!

The Bee Gees, Robin & Barry, wrote this song in 1971, then Al Green recorded this in 1972 for his album Let's Stay Together. His version was used in the 1999 movie Notting Hill.

He sounds wonderful, this song was composed by The Bee Gees. You might want to listen to some of their music. They wrote a lot of music for different singers. This was well done,, 🎶🎵🎶

This was the Bee Gee's 1st song after getting back together following their awful 15 month breakup. 😢 That's why the lyrics are so sad - they all were broken hearted about how they'd treated each other. But they did like Al's version, too, and were honored that he chose to cover it. Al definitely put extra special SOUL on it! 🔥 R&B was their FAVORITE genre, after all!
The Bee Gee's wrote the song "Lovely Days" at the same time and both went to #1 (it's a banger, BTW). ❤

This was originally a Bee Gees song (written by them released as a single in 1971). I've noticed that all of your Bee Gees reactions have been to songs from the "disco" era or later. It's probably time for you to react to their pre-disco era hits (there are quite a few), this being one of them. Others include: Holiday; I've Gotta Get a Message To You; I Can't See Nobody; Words; I Started a Joke; Massachusetts; To Love Somebody; New York Mining Disaster 1941; Lonely Days; Run To Me.

I love Al Green, but this is not an Al Green song. This is a cover of a Bee Gees song. For great Al Green songs check out "I'm so tired of being alone" "Let's stay together" "Love and Happiness" "Look What You've done to me" "I'm still in love With You" "Take Me To The River" "L-o-v-e(LOVE)" and "Here I Am (Come And Take Me)" just to name a few.
