- Join us as we run through all of the creation suite options in AEW: Fight Forever and highlight all of the games unique features!
Creation modes included in AEW Fight Forever include:
- Create A Wrestler
- Create An Arena
- Entrance Editor
- Moveset Editor
The Create a Wrestler mode in Fight Forever is very limited in terms of appearance and clothing items, as there are only a handful of options available, with no options to create or import custom logos and no community creations.
The moveset editor features 100s of moves, including a lot of moves previously seen in the WWE 2K series, as well as a ton of new moves that are exclusive to AEW.
While entrances in the game are short, the entrance editor brings with it a lot of new and unique features, such as the ability to set custom hand gestures to create new motions, add pyro and screen effects, and swap out entrance props with other items to further customise your entrance.
Also featured is an Arena Creator that allows players to create their own custom arenas, however this feature is somewhat limited with the options available.

AEW Fight Forever is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and X, and Nintendo Switch.
Fight Forever releases on June 29th worldwide, however players can play one day early on June 28th if they pre-order the Elite edition.

The Creator wrestler section of the game is a goddamn travesty
I like the mini games and think it’ll be a cool feature to play when you’re bored. But yes, I totally agree with this. The mini games could’ve been a DLC update later on, they should’ve spent more time fleshing the creation suite out
@@keithunderwood8803it's also a live service game, so you can guarantee it'll be added to/improved through updates. They did say they plan on supporting it for years to come instead of yearly releases.
My theory with the creation suite:
They wanted to keep it limited so players are forced to buy the dlc.
If they add more then I want to download them like in 2k I want Cena, DX, and Austin but I don't wanna create them myself
I think that’s all we can hope for but they painted themselves in a corner with not having faces you can adjust. Every caw you make ends up looking like fake Razor Ramon and Diesel.
Uh no. It's just because they barely had the budget or time to even bother making it decent. There's no "theory" or complicated reason, it's just an occam's razor thing, where the easy answer is the right one. It's just a cheap and lazy game.

Like create an entrance is great. The move-set creator seems great. It is such a shame that the main create a wrestler appears very limited. Creation is probably one of my fav parts of a wrestling game, creating my own characters and put them all in matches. I'm delaying getting the game anyways since I'm between jobs right now, but I do hope they expand with more parts and face templates for the creation suite.
I'm with you. After watching this video I won't be buying right away. I'll keep checking in every few months to see where there CAW suite is at.
And I'm so done with 2k Creation.
Fight Forever is too limited and 2k is too in depth.
Creating a wrestling from scratch should be hours of work. But it shouldn't be 15 minutes either. Ya know?

The creation is very Limited but it's a new game hopefully they add more stuff for your caws through updates . Still the games pretty good and fun so far
They spent more effort on the mini games that hardly anyone wanted.

Either we are getting a big patch in the future to update the create wreslter mode, or we will have to pay for dlc items to add more to the mode.
It's not going to be either. This is what you get. This is what it's going to be.
The CAW is limited ash. How are you not even gonna give me a full beard option. It’s not like Brodie Lee and Bryan Dainelson have them. But tbh, there are some pretty cool and innovative options that 2K would never go for. The animated arena props and the weapon entrances, the blood stained mat, the New Japan corner pads. Here’s hoping they can patch some better facial customisation and clothing options.
Imagine combining that Baseball Bat entrance with the broken glass filter!

Reminds me of WWE All Stars caw, where people got very creative with their wrestlers formulas, I hope that the same happens

You’ve got to remember that this is essentially a base game, with new updates and add ons coming in the future, yes it is pretty bare bones (that’s putting it lightly) like dry bones bare bones, but let’s hope with the next update or 2 that they do add in a fair bit of CAW stuff, if not then what did they do for the amount of time this game was delayed for?
Also sucks that most of the tights can’t even have the basic knee pads over the top of them which is pretty whack

Is there a faster way to scroll through the ring announcer names? I literally froze my game because I had to hold down on the analog stick for like two minutes straight to get from W to K.
Not only is the creation suite a joke, but the fact that we can’t change in game wrestler hair, face paint etc is pathetic too. No excuse for a 60-70 dollar game in 2023 that’s been in the works for years

do you know if tools exist to add custom music for stars that we port in? including the videos on titantron? I have ben seeking a game where i have total freedom especially with the entrance music. sadly the last game that this was allows was wwe 2k14... all games after you need tools to swap music and i am hoping aew provided middle finger to wwe and brought the feature back.

if they make another game in the future, they gotta up the customization by a lotta percent. the old Smackdown VS Raw games i would spend hours making a rosters worth of character it was so fun what you could do. the lack of customization in this kinda killed any interest i had in getting this

My main disappointment is the pathetic amount of hairstyles. There should be at the very least 50. Hopefully more get added.

The fact that this game rivals North Korea with the amount of hairstyles offered is sad.
No excuse when it's Yukes behind all of this. Smackdown SYM from 21 years ago had an overall better CAW suite, and that game had a shorter development time.

That's a shame, I buy every wwe game and I hate wwe i only watch aew, but i buy it because i like to create my wrestlers and my little universe, and I believe that's the reason a lot of people buy those games, and seing this lackluster create a wrestler mode really soured me on the game, I noticed they hadn't shown absolutely nothing of it and now I know why. That's a no buy for me
How do i get to the entrance modification for ingame stars
When I try an use the items under Full Body option in Ring Attire they all have these marks on them when I click on them they say “This cannot be used with your current attire.” I take every thing off my creation I can but they still won’t work. Then mark isn’t the money mark but an “!” Mark

Added it to my steam cart, then watched this video. The creation suite was my make or break for the game so looks like I won't be picking this one up for now 💔. Hopefully they'll add more in the future

Sadly, the 8-Bit themes are copyrighted... They made a couple of albums on Spotify that are those themes.

This is exactly what I'd expect from YUKES. This is like how Virtual Pro Wrestler 2 worked, and all the other games they worked on.
The changes to all the details to the body end up causing more visual glitches and collision issues.
I'll buy this game, if they make the CAW half as good as No Mercy / VPW2.
I hope we get more CAW slots as 100 slots isn’t enough.

Everything creative is cool....except the create a wrestler part. Imo thats what makes a wrestling game replayable, that and a good story mode

That’s another thing we need more customisation freedom like what the 2k games give you.
There is two problems with creating a superstar on AEW Fight Forever is if the superstar has more then one set of tattoos like The Undertaker & Rey Mysterio you can't put more than one set of tattoos on the created superstars so they will come out wrong unless you want to take the time to mod the game if you know how to & you can't put designs on the clothing if the superstar has a design or two on there clothes like Triple H does & some superstar's do these days so till they come out with a patch to fix these your created superstars will look wrong.

If the clothing has a 🎨 symbol when you select it you can usually press Square (I think) after selecting it. There should be an option appear at the bottom left of the screen with the button to press if it’s available.
The only reason I get Wrestling, So I can put WWE out of business with my Company RPW. Since Smackdown 2.
CAW is the only reasin we buy. Not to be The Undertaker but to beat him at WrestleMania or be the first ever 17 WWE Champion.
Make your own history. Damn the Next main focus should be the best CAW mode ever. (It's already hard to beat)

You unlock him for purchase in the shop after you beat him in the Road to Elite Mode during the Join the Dark Order storyline.
This game is jusy like AEW itself, has loads of potential but falls short in too many crucial areas, especially the character creation which honesly just plain sucks.
Yeah this is shockingly limited. I'll probably still buy the game, but for the price this is very disappointing creation-wise.
