I bought a Heavy Hand after watching your demo, which led me to other KingTone pedals, which led me to Jesse Davey the player, which led me to “Soundtrack for the Movie That Wasn’t There”-so good.
I have a set and love them. I used the neck and middle and then snuck a patent # in the bridge for some fun. Fantastic pickups by an absolute beast of a player

Epic demo! I did want to ask; I searched the writing on the page but could not find if these are Noiseless Pickups or if they have that light buzz between settings on the selector like most Strat pickups
Yeah, the Benson game is very competitive, pretty much a Reverb situation unless you can join the Benson Amps Facebook group and look for members who put used units up for sale, and I also recommend following Benson on Instagram and turning on post and story notifications when new units come up! Just some pro tips for you 🔥
I see that you tilt pickups to balance the strings. I do too. I like the rate indicator led on the tremolo pedal. Does that help you play in sync with it?
Yeah Jesse recommends slanting the bass side of each pickup lower so that you can crank the amp and the low end on the amp eq even more without getting too boomy - tried them at a variety of heights and can’t make ‘em sound bad, but this is a good way to go! And yes I am a fan of modulation pedals showing their rates with a pulsing LED - but I feel how to play with modulation in my playing, for instance I may not play WITH the rate, but against it. The Origin Revival Trem doesn’t have tap tempo, so it’s something I just set to a nice tempo and leave it. Thanks a ton for watching! Appreciate you! Make sure to subscribe.

These are all words I associate with Stevie Ray Vaughan, and by extension Jesse Davey’s playing - the creator of these pickups. I sat here for a second trying to come up with a way to define them, but I would say go listen to Lenny by SRV. That’s what I mean.

I'm looking for a good set for my stratocaster and the bluebird are a good option. I understand that woody brings out the qualities of the wood of the guitar, a treble that is somewhat bright but soft. Hollow refers to the fact that the mid frequencies are very scooped. Glassy and indicate that it refers to the fact that the high frequencies are well accentuated but that in the end it is a pleasant sound that never distorts. Others say the opposite, that those high frequencies do break. Do you have any opinion about it?. Greetings.
As long as they don’t get demagnetized, decades and decades. There are amazing guitars out there from the 50s and 60s that sound incredible - others need a pickup rewind or new magnets. Thanks for watching! Hope that helps
Thank you! Best Strat or Tele you can buy for $2000 - that’s for sure. Killer wiring and lollar pickups loaded in stock. They are consistent AF with great setups when new. I’m a big fan of them! The only thing I usually add is an Emerson treble bleed Been really fun to have the kingtone pick ups in there instead, I’m loving them as well with the kingtone switch.
