About the Video
Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) is a non-profit private company that provides a network platform to democratise e-commerce in India. It is considered as an engine of growth and it is expected to redefine the E-commerce sector entirely.
ONDC has become widely popular due to its highly competitive prices in food delivery, challenging the dominance of established players like Swiggy and Zomato. Many users flocked the platform to avail the products at such cheap prices. However, it comes with its own sets of challenges. Sellers on ONDC platform are able to sell products at such low prices because there’s no intermediary in between to take commission as it is backed by the government. But how efficient is it going to be in the long run?
As some regard it as a revolutionary step, others consider it a mere buzz. In order to decide this, one must be aware of how it functions, what advantages come with this and how it creates challenges in the traditional e-commerce world.

To inform, that I began following CZcams channels of yours, Pranjal Kamra, Bulltrack, Book Pillow and Akshat Shrivastav, since 2018-2019. Based on these learnings, i began changed my way of investing in equity and created new portfolio. Also, by following Robert Kiyosaki I bought physical gold and silver.
In 2020-2021, my gold-silver shot up by almost 25-30%, and then grew some more in 2023.
My equity investments stagnated till 2022, but then shot up subsequently and today equity is at +26%.

I feel ONDC can be a game changer in the areas where the penetration is very poor. ZOmato and Swiggy have limited options in smaller cities and don't exist in most, and that way, they have a lot of potential to begin with.
Good review - there are some CZcamsrs praisng ONDC like a big game Changer as a propaganda you have done a good pros and cons and mentioned where need improvement.
ONDC had should come up as a supporting platform for small sellers like helping them in logistics and payments.

Your review is good. As you said there is a monopoly where the big players suppress small brands and sellers. This is a good initiative from the government and we should support it. Only then will the Indian economy grow and it will give opportunities to small players and brands.

Their service 1) Easy product cataloging 2) Inbuilt courier service 3) Refund for wrong product received from customer return. 4) Timely payment 5) Easy GST Accounting 6) Easy Customer Care service 7) Loan for business 8) Search engine ranking of product. 9) Product ranking according to customer rating and AI, Good product with reasonable price and availability will always ranks in long run. 10) Free cost and easy Brand Building of small manufacturer product. 11) No server downtime 12)Customer satisfaction.
ONDC will survive if it give all such facilities at 5 to 20% commission.
Not possible. So many moving parts. Bringing it all together under different heads is very very hard.
@@devdutta8405 Exactly, There are 4/5 players involved in a single transaction and even if they charge 3% comission each, that would turn out to be 12-15% commission each order and a retailer hardly makes that purch of profit from a order.

Well that's also not possible otherwise it will be like closing India's economy again , since foreign pockets have invested money in this at foreign investment will be lower in upcoming years , what can be done is keep the name in background and wait for gaint players to seek profit ,as ideas are not to solve the problems but to earn money
