" I am just going to go for it with Nh5 and well see what happens" what he really means is "I have calculated 5 lines to my victory already lets see which one the opponent choses."
Magnus dictionary
🤣🤣🤣
well the guy was playing too much by the book for his rating and he was too slow building an attack that he allowed magnus to gain space king side.
@M. Mhb But it's obvious he busts open the king from there and the opposotion is quite defenseless due to the position of their pieces
@M. Mhb yes you can. You can when you look at black. He cannot really transfer pieces to the kingside at a result of the closed position.
Imagine every chess game you go in knowing you’ll win
So effortless! Magnus made it appear he was playing a child.
He makes it look so easy
That was a high quality game, high quality attack and high quality explanation.
I subjected the game to an engine analysis: the engine's verdict: "smooth - one player dominated the entire game". The engine claimed 2 inaccuracies by Magnus - but both are debatable. One is 16.ab (I suppose because it gives black Ba6 as an additional resource), though on further inspection the supposedly equalising lines are failing to do so, white keeps a small edge. Still, 16.Nf4 was probably more precise. The other was 20.Ne2, as 20.g6 was winning, but then 20Ne2 was also winning.
Yeah this is really late and I’m no grandmaster but I was like screaming pawn up to g6
Great to see you playing anytime, Magnus!
best chess videos on the web. arguably the greatest of all time putting on a clinic for us to watch. thank you!!!
The most knowledgeable commentator
I get this same position often as white by playing the closed sicilian, so useful for me to see how to play it better.
magnus... idolooo.. sos un genio
He missed counter play, Magnus so humble. The fact there's no chance. Lol..
Awesome play by Magnus and so cool !
the ending on these videos is always so abrupt!
brutal pawn storm
Does anyone know to what particular Dvoretsky's book is he reffering to?
I think I saw a window of opportunity for Cicero. Considering the predicament that was forming, I think he had an opportunity to trade some pieces and simplify the game.
At 4:57, when Magnus did the kinght sacrifice to open up the king side, I was expecting Cicero to move his knight to C4. His knight was well placed there to cause Magnus a potential headache but I think the sacrifice of the knight disturbed and intimidated Cicero a bit. You could see the pause before his next move.
There’s nothing like watching someone at the top of his/her game, literally!
3:43 why didn't he say shamefull retreat?
THANK YOU MAGNUS!!!
Heh, thanks for the glimpse inside the thought process of the games best.
excelente master.!!!!!!!!!!
i ma seeing it bro as it feels like he has played an average move in every game and has won it as if was piece of cake.he is just simply going to follow his inituiton
I don't think his just follows his intuition. While talking, he is thinking about dozens of variations but doesn't speak them outloud
Incredible, lo hace parecer todo fácil...
Good game.
YOU ARE THE LISTENEEEER!!!
It's amazing Magnus plays a far better game in a single minute than I could play with a whole day per move
He was sure he'll win this when he said, " d6? "
This entire attack of Carlsen's was so smooth
And it was in this position the first thing happened 4:20
GO MC GO
I don't see where the checkmate is?
Rxf7 is unstoppable
Even after rook F1, checkmate isn't as easy as it looks. Of course, white would always win on time, but I would still find a way to blunder the checkmate.
“Which is obviously sensible”
Yeah, obviously 🤥
7:58 Assume Black has 2 minutes. How does this game end? g7 can't be touched.
Rook f7 looks like it touches
Carlsen remembers every game of his and anybody else. What can you do against that?
If the King goes to H8 it's not over...
6:38 pawn --->>G6 ? Why didn't Magnus Carlsen make that move
Night and pawn
Almost 2600 of ELO and Magnus crushed Cicero28.
Isn’t this illegal to let someone like Magnus plays normal people.
Magnus carlsen is like peyton manning ..peyton how did you threw for 400 and 5 tds..Manning: naaa 😆 that was nothing i was just training 😁
When ur chess skills pay Ur cocaine habit
if I could get magnus to play 1 second faster he would win 35% more games. Now that is sensible
How Cicero can be a 2500 player..
Maybe his little bro has taken his Mac lmao
Against Magnus everyone is 800 elo
I wonder if a low rated player would surprise high level players because they aren't following theoretic chess. If I play AI at 1500, then I can win because of the programmed blunders. Once it becomes 1700, it's almost perfect. I wouldn't know what the difference is between AI at 1700 compared to AI at 3000.
who is cicero28?

Leaving comment.. Hope Magnus replies.. Lol. I think black should have taken ASAP on d4 vacating c5 and e5 for Knight and then play B--b7. Magnus cleverly closed center with e5. Black needs to strike out with f5 to weaken e4... Magnus clamps down on it with g4... Intending to play on King side which he does do rolling his pawns down... Note Magzy also plays f4 taking away e5 square for Knight... I think black missed f5 here.. Once Magzy played f5 himself it is positional lost... Black needed to see N-f4 move also in addition to pawn push on f5 Hmm.. Maybe N--e2 is interesting.. Wonder why not N--f3... One reason may be to push f4 pawn and start king side attack!.... Maybe e5 was better then than c5.. Note rook on b8 not c8.. If f4 then he can exchange it but I think e5 needs to be played before d5 or else Magzy exchanges en pass ant and Black has weakness on g6

@@Christoff070 LOL
@@Christoff070 lmao what a meme lord
nah I disagree. Black should instead fight in the center so white doesnt get his dream attacking position on the kingside. As such black doing nothing about white allowed white to freely operate on the kingside. Hence he should have attacked right after white played f4 or g4. Also he shouldnt have manuevered everything towards the queenside. There is no given reason to. As such all he did was allow white an even more powerful attack because the center is closed.
👌👍😃💯
It seemed like the opponent was using an engine to make moves.
Jajaja por q no avanzo la torre y deja que el peón se comiera su caballo ?
minuto?

Si
ok minuto 6:29 ¿Tf4 es a lo que te refieres? si Tf4 bxc3 Th4 Te8 y ¿me puedes explicar donde está el mate?
@@aztecachess4512 Tf4 después peón por caballo luego Th4 y el mate es imparable
Pure luck no?
