That voice over at the end is worth a fortune. Do you want to swop that sleeping mat for my nature hike self inflating and i will even throw in a foil backed polt mat.. no questions asked just a straight swop. 😂 .
I have an xlite nxt with the R 4.5, slept warm all winter from Dartmoor to Ben Nevis. Same design as the xtherm possibly quieter to sleep on when you move. Don’t think we need the xtherm extra R rating warmth in the UK to be honest. Interested to know if others agree or disagree
Ahh good stuff Steve, I'm new to this type of mat as all the others just haven't cut it in the winter but this... I know will be fine. For me I live being warm, I get nippy in the summer months, I would certainly try out the extra R if I had the opportunity to do so, that way I'll let you know haha. Thanks pal
You're giving me kit envy. I already have the rab 5.5 (winter) , oex flux 5 ( spring/Autumn) , decathlon cheapy (summer) so I don't need another... Though if I get a bit extra cash , I would get one.. don't they have a lifetime guarantee??. Take care out there... I went out last night and was editing all the footage today.. don't know what happened but I managed to wipe all the file and now only have memories, yet nothing to post.. am still learning the tech.. Take care out there.
Haha! Yeah I was the same when I saw guys sporting these mats. I've wanted one for a long time! You definitely have a fair few mats yourself there matey. Yeah the have a lifetime warranty which is one of the reasons I'm drawn to them, as long as its not abused that is. Oh no mate, devastating!! I'd be gutted pal, sorry to hear.
