    Great video and explanation, thanks very much. Now, one question though, if that should is made up of continous reefs why is called rimmed platform? Can't it be called rimmed ramp or somethinkg like that? Because it will still be a ramp (because it will keep its ramp shape) and it will have a shoal made up of reefs. Sorry got a bit confused 😕

      If you have a continuous reef, chances are this will aggrade during TST faster than the surrounding platform/slope, so overtime you tend to go from a ramp geometry to a rimmed platform geometry wiht steep sides, but rarely the other way around.
