Building Our New TOOL TRAILER!

- In this video we are building out our brand new enclosed tool trailer. We have always loved using enclosed trailers to haul around our tools and leave them on the job site. We've found this type of setup to be the most efficient for us, and we can have our tools accessible at all times when we are on site. This trailer is an 8.5' x 16' which is a little bigger than our previous one, which was a 7' x 12' . We are looking forward to putting this new tool trailer to use and excited for how much more efficient it will make us!
OUR FAVORITE TOOLS AND ACCESSORIES!

Meant to comment on this when it came out. Love the build. Over my Christmas off time I'm going to add the shelf at the V nose like you have. Don't know how I did not think of that. My hand tools are falling everywhere (also going to mount spare tire to it. Mine keeps falling off the wall).
Only thing different I've done that works super well imo is I put a black rubber garage/shop type flooring down. It's a 1/4in rubberized floor. I sealed with black silicone so if anything leaks it won't get under and harm wood. Also keeps the floor from damage from things falling. Most importantly it's SUPER easy to clean.
This video gave me some great ideas for the next time I do stuff to mine!
Nice! I like to keep my pneumatic hose reel, compressor, guns, and fasteners organized on a Husky 2-tier rolling cart that I can bring in all as one unit. It fits right at the hatch opening so it rolls right down. 💪🏻
That sounds like a sweet nailer setup!
Beautiful job! Well thought out. Lots of weigh on the right. Compactor should compensate. Mine's a little more Ron Paulk style, but I do lots of different jobs. I have to stuff lots of little stuff and small material items in a 6X12. For your specialty, you've got a sweet custom rig with room to breathe. Super sweet! Oh, yeah, butter pecan all the way!
Butter pecan is a fancy one! Almost forgot about that flavor lol. The ron Paulk style setups are so nice, we went with more bulk storage kinda setup cause we’re not working out of the trailer most of the time it’s grab and go
I have a Ron Paulk set up as well, it works for us. Sean trailer looks great! You guys will be so much more productive and have room to grow! Great video
Just scrolling looking for inspiration on how to fit out my new 7x16 , my 6x12 isn’t big enough and wasn’t set up well . Good job , that 8 foot wide trailer looks like you need extensions on your side mirrors
Perry’s soft serve chocolate in a cone, small to medium, and on a cold day, with the chocolate dip. Very cool video on a build out! I have a 6x10 I built out in 2019. I am looking forward to the next trailer which will grow to a 8.5 x 12 V-nose duel axle. For me, it is a big rolling tool box. Thanks for the content.
Nice job keep it simple but functional. It works for me.
Exactly! We’ll see how it works out but I think it’s gonna be just what we need!
I wish you did a build pdf on this for what materials are needed and quantity etc
Trailer looks great! I used angle iron around the shelf to stop mitre saws from moving in mine.
Thanks man!! We’re gonna do some little stoppers around the miter saws! That’s one of the few little things we didn’t get to yet
Looks great! Check out the fastcap track rack for track saw blades. They’re awesome.
I use them in my trailer, they are great
I’ll have to check those out!
Just picked up my second 20 footer today with tandem 5200 pound axles. My trailer has a camper toilet!!!
I think it's funny the guy is using a level. Unless the trailer itself is perfectly level you plumbing up only makes it plumb in that one position but as the angle of the trailer changes it will be out. Better to just square everything. Other than that good job
Every good decision in that trailer setup will save you future time. Gotta do it right.
Congrats!
Absolutely! Looking forward to jobsite efficiency !
I love strawberry marble icecream
Nice job setting up the new trailer. I installed shore power in my new trailer which may or maynot help you guys with your setup but I hung a fan from the ceiling just to keep the air moving in the trailer in the summer.
a fan, that's a great idea!
Was goning to be a lazy sunday...thanks for the motivation gents!
Great build out
Anytime man!!
That’s the perfect trailer size,I will get one like that
Love it! Clean simple and proficient. Organized but simple.
thank you!! we didn't want to overcomplicate it, so hopefully it works out really well for us long term!
Wawa chocolate peanut butter cup is great. I'm starting to enjoy Telenti Belgium Chocolate. It's worth trying
Talenti is the fancy stuff!!
Very well thought out trailer design and install gentlemen! Time for a pint of my favorite ice cream…Salted Carmel!
Great stuff, i like the idea of a tool trailer. Not so popular here in Poland, work vans all around. Nice setup.
Oh as for the icecreams, best flavours are pistachio, salted carmel and lemon.
Those sound like very European flavors 🤣🤣. Work vans are great if you’re not on the same site for long periods of time
Love this setup. Good job, keep it up. So many good ideas for a future build.
Thanks buddy!!
My tool trailer we added a 20 amp shore power hook up with shops lights and a cooking station with a air fryer & nuker.
Organization 🤤 Great job guys!! 😈💪🏽👊🏽
Not my strong suit, that’s why I let ant and Tom run with the planning and execution on this one!
Lemon flavor is my best choice especially in summer
Michigan black cherry. I love the way Ant just said we are building this for us, not you. We are doing it our way. It looks great guys. 👍 a Premier trailer for a Premier outdoor company.
Bro, love the trailer. Love it!
Thanks man! I think it’s gonna work out really well for us!
Nice job; I would get a harbor freight solar panel kit and battery. Then you could put some led lights in it.
That’s a good call! Would love to get a legit solar setup but that’ll be really expensive. A tiny one for some leds would be awesome
Isn't that plywood on the wall (OSB) just 1/2" thick? Or is it even thinner than that? I would have sacrificed 1.5" of overall width inside the trailer to put a layer of 3/4" ply on both sides and then I know I can screw anywhere and it will be secure. Just my two cents.....nice build guys.
Love it guys! Really like the adjustable shelves! 👍💪😍
Thanks buddy!!
I'm going to Wawa to get that peanut butter ice cream. I like orange vanilla ice cream and Makita tools
Its your trailer but I'll still give my two cents 😂 run extension cord out the front to a box inside and then wire up some LED lights on the ceiling and maybe even a powerbar for charging batteries inside the trailer. If you want can even put a microwave but that's next level luxury. Just plug in the trailer once your on site and good to go. Where I live it's dark at 4PM already so the lighting is really a must.
That’s a great call, it just sits on the jobsite so running an extension cord to it is easy to do!
A local ice cream shop had a flavor called the policeman's special, it was coffee ice cream with glazed donut chunks ground up in it. Perfect!
That honestly sounds awesome!
What's to keep all that stuff from flying off the counters and shelves when you're flying down the road lol Thanks for the video.!
Hahah all the shelves have lips on them to keep everything from sliding off but we do need to put little stoppers around the miter saws to keep them from moving. For now they have a bungee on them lol
If you miter saws have round feet on bottom drilling holes they can recess in usually keeps them from sliding around
Nice set up guys . You missing the blower , where do you get the ties whit hanger for hoses and extension cords?
I haven’t decided if we wanna keep a backpack blower in there or just the little handheld battery ones. You can get the cable cuffs at lowes or Home Depot!
You need to do fan meet up dinners
Some sort of local meetups would be cool!
Just say where and when big guy
Good job
Spotted that Phiwwey accent right away
Its South Jersey!
You all should think about putting a 7 degree pitch on all your shelves for guns and cases, that way your tools don't fall out when Traveling down the road. If you need a picture send me a message
We were thinking about that but will the small ledge on the front of the shelves we haven’t had anything fall in the past
Love It
Trailer day!
Yeeehaw 🤠
My wife thinks it’s weird that I eat a whole pint of ice cream in one sitting , I think it’s weird it last her a whole week
Cool trailer buddy congrats
Thanks man!!
That’s an awesome setup! Will the trailer be able to hold all that load including the dingo?
Thanks man!! Yeah with the dingo we’ll be right under the gvw
Great looking trailer!! Nice placement for all your tools!
Appreciate that buddy!! I think it going to work out perfectly!
Ummmm coffee Ice Cream is NOT weird!!! It's the best!! My guy
I just realized One Republic is a carpenter.
Me?!
@@THEpremieroutdoor yes! Lol.
Our crew has a trailer per carpenter so to be honest im willing to bet your gonna need another one here in a couple years.
What size door did you go for on the side of the trailer? And what size is the trailer? Please come and back. I would like to get 120 foot long. With a 48 inch door I was just curious about yours.
Nice trailer. Any lighting to be added ?
Thinking about maybe doing a small solar setup for lights and battery charging!
What color will you be painting everything?
nice trailer build, did you pay more for shipping on your Makita long track than the cost of the track it's self?
Hey guys what did you use to paint the floor and was it 3/4 osb flooring?
Where do you store your glues and caulks in the winter?
If it's possible to make a 12 foot trailer work, I think there are advantages to Towing and parking it but if you need the space, you need to space
Hopefully that dingo don’t get that trailer floor muddy as hell
Hahah it’s only in and out once per job so hopefully we’ll be able to keep it pretty clean 😅
What a nice break from not seeing stacks and stacks of Milwaukee tools and Packouts
yeah screw Milwaukee haha
All that room and no cubby for the sheets of drywall! 🤣😂
No drywall around here!!! We did think about having some material storage in there but that usually just ends up being a trash bin and stuff stays in there forever
@@THEpremieroutdoor no problem, just figured Anthony wanted a little design help. We all know drywall is his favorite job. 😂
Chocolate!!!!
Need square cubbies for those marking paint cans
Loved that little add on too 🤣
Tillamook Ice Cream: Chocolate Peanut Butter. The peanut butter is 1/8" deep ribbons that you can dig out with a fork.
oh damn that sounds delicious!
what trucks do you guys have? do you recommend them?
I’ve got a 2012 f250…bought it used in 2015 and it’s given me almost no problems whatsoever. Next truck I buy though it’ll probably be a diesel to haul more stuff
please do a video of your next truck.
Is there a way to hook up a solar powered battery charger in there? For all you dewalt hand tools
Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Chunky Monkey!
I’m a big fan of the Ben and Jerry’s Americone dream!
@@THEpremieroutdoor the junkier the better!
Idk why these trailers don’t have a long skylight down the middle so there’s plenty of light in it - could make it coverable if needed
as a homeowner, I will pass on a team that has a disorganized and disheveled work truck. My thinking is---if they can't even take care of their own stuff, then what are they going to do with my house? I'm sure they will cut a lot of corners. Kudos to you guys---hope you business is doing well!
Bluebunny birthday cake, but them fuckers discontinued it 😢 I cried, but laugh about it today. Hahahaaa
U have to watch my trailer build videos to see my best feature!!
Hahah I’ll check it out!!
Don't tell em what to do they do it
What truck do you use to tow it?
Ford F-250!
Tea berry
This is the worst trailer build with the best video quality of all trailer builds 😂
at least we're the best at something!💁🏻
Black cherry
Solid and underrated choice honestly
