- Sam gives the video for BIG WRECK - "THE OAF" a watch and reacts to it! Is Sam going to be honest? Damn right he will. Has he really never heard it before? He's way too late to the party on this one.

Check out "Hey Mama" and "I Digress"...
I played "In Loving Memory Of..." so many times the cd itself wore out. Such a wonderful sound.
If you’re a sucker for chunk, look deeper into Big Wreck. They have songs with some super heavy chunk. Songs like Too Far Gone, LadyLike and Voices have super heavy parts.
Ian Thornley (frontman) has developed into a singular talent...he's featured in my my top 5 favorite vocalists of all time and top 3 favorite guitarists of all time (David Gilmour, Mark Knopfler and him are regularly trading top position) and top 5 favorite songwriters of all time. A good all round idea of what he's capable of can be seen in any of the "Suhr factory party 2015" videos, specifically "I digress" or "Ghosts"...y'know... if you feel like having your face melted by insane chops. ...btw...I'm also a Pearl Jam super fan 🤘🤘
100% agree. His tone is the best in the game right now. He’s also in my top 5 for vocalists and guitarists.
Here's them doing it live in 2015....

They have been making consistently stellar music since '98. They are releasing their 8th album (3-6 song EP's) starting Nov.24th of this year. So much to discover for you!
Big wreck is a great band to get into. They are absolutely killer live! Try "Ladylike" from the Suhr Party 2015.
Big Wreck’s WEST VIRGINIA is a killer tune…
Why they aren’t one of the biggest bands in the world is beyond me. Ghosts the whole album is a masterpiece. Great live band also. As a guitar player Ian is ridiculously good. He makes most of us sound stupid.
I'm Canadian & I was born in 1980 grunge is my thing. Here are some of my favourite Canadian bands from the 1990s. Big Wreck, The Watchmen, Our Lady Peace, I Mother Earth, The Tea Party, Thornley (Big Wreck singer Ian Thornley did 2 albums after Big Wreck broke up, it's a band not a solo act), Finger Eleven, Sum 41. I'm sure that will keep you busy & content for quite a while. I really like Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, The Smashing Pumpkins & Nirvana too.
The Tea Party I've seen a lot of from David Heretic's channel, and I TOTALLY dig them. Our Lady Peace I've seen a bit of and they're pretty great, too. Sum 41 was inescapable pop-punk back in the late 90's/early 2000's and I still have In Too Deep and Fat Lip in the memory banks somewhere, I'm sure. The Watchmen, I Mother Earth, Thornley, and Finger Eleven I'm gonna have to look into a bit. Thank you for the recommendations, fellow wheelchair user!
@@WayTooLateTV AWESOME! The Tea Party & I Mother Earth don't record anymore but they played a show together here in November that I saw. The crowd was all around my age. Big Wreck is a band that I started knowing about and going to live shows in early 1999. I've seen them or Thornley about 18 times until covid. Right up at the top of my favourite bands with Foo Fighters!
@@Canadianwheelchairguitar @Way TooLateTV You guys bring the Rock AND the Roll 🏆
@@PeterByker There are MANY great unknown great rock bands that are Canadian but not very well known outside of Canada. Right now though EVERYTHING seems to be country like in music. Fair enough, my generation's music has past like so many others.
Add in Big Sugar and Junkhouse
WHY would you pick the worst version I mean this is from 12-15 years ago?? if you are going to react to them try any of the LIVE at the Suhr Factory Parties versions
I use the links that are provided to me by my friends. I have rules set up for them for providing links: Live shows are best with good sound quality, lyric videos are good, Official band and official record label links as a last resort as those are most likely to get 30 day blocks put on them. This was just the link provided to me by Faust. I haven't opened up requests to the public yet because I'm disabled and in very poor health, so I can't do Way Too Late to the Party episodes at the pace that I'd like to be able to do them at. At least not yet. I'm hoping to get healed to the point where I can, soon. But until then, it's just an "as I can squeeze them in" schedule, so I have a short list of friend requests, and that's it right now.
