Because of the configuration of the exhaust manifold, the configuration is 4 in to 2 in to 1, but the first "group" (cylinders 1 and 2) have a much shorter run compered to the second "group" (cylinders 3 and 4) so basically works like an unequal exhaust headers, you are hearing deferent exhaust pulses very close together and the a bigger gap and other 2 different pulses very close and so on...that's why you hear that typical rumble of a crossplane V8 in this car, even if is a flarplane V8...I hope you understand and I hope this was helpful for you ☺️
