As someone who's parents listened to the Boss at The Stone Pony, I think we need a Springsteen for this age. Who's singing songs about our lives today? Lady Gaga isn't talking about my life. Jay-Z doesn't sing about me. Rock needs a shot in the arm and my generation needs a working class hero like the Boss.

Seen him 10 times!! Born in the USA was the first tour that I saw GREAT Showman!!
I've only seen him 5 times and they were all so long ago. I would have seen him 6 times but the wife of my youth chose during the time of the River tour to walk out on me and our 3 year old son and she stole the tickets. What made it even more unforgivable was she didn't even use them to go to the show. Guess her new boyfriend wasn't a fan.
So somewhere in the Mid South Auditorium sat 2 empty seats and they were really good seats. Just off center in the sixth or seventh row.

Have been a fan since I discovered him which was a couple of years ago. Unfortunately I am from a part of the world he would never visit. There are not many fans off his kind of music apart from South Africa and the infrastructure is lacking. The closest to watching him is if he goes to Dubai to perform.

Got to love the Boss , Cannot wait to see him this coming November and of course the E street band, only wish Clarence was still with us , but he will always be there in spirit , and I’ll still picture him up on that stage , truly a dream come true. Counting down days like it were Christmas.

Man that was so awesome. I have not seen Bruce in concert since the Amnesty Intern. Tour in '89 - at the Montreal Olympic stadium. That was amazing and memorable. So is this. Feels just like I've attended a Springsteen concert all over again.

Bruce screwed them up by changing the setlist again - you'd think that the producers on these would learn by now. He never plays exactly what he starts out planning on. It's just more a suggestion and then when he get out there he plays what feels right for that audience. It's one of the things that makes him the best live performer.

@smokiesnwine For the record, the BBC, were not showing the concert live but on a time delay on BBC2 and Tenth Avenue Freeze Out was likely being played live at the moment but got superimposed on what was being shown on TV. Sometime during the broadcast they switched to live so viewers got the beginning and end of the show.
I know they like to have the whole band sing and everything and with the huge crowds its better to have people who sing up at the front of the stage, but I sure like the old performances where Roy sings that high harmony part

I think the reason the BBC called it Tenth-Avenue Freeze Out is because anyone with sense had fled the tv studio and gone to join the crowd..
Not a fan of this American self-serving stuff, but My Springsteen enables it to expand across the ocean to other countries and their experiences. I contradict myself every time I "like" his music, and I have been very contradictory in my life..
