I used to have this on VHS. It was the second or third one that I bought in 1994 or 95.

These years tapes are really a time capsule of what was available at the time, there are a number of things that we’ve come to know as incorrect mentioned here.
The Christmas with a Dalek song over The Nightmare begins we now have the audio for it, and at some point it must have been edited for the TARDIS to appear at the start as opposed to the end.
Then we have Power of the Daleks of course we now have around a minute of footage from that story, the clip presented here keeps getting misidentified, here it’s said to be from Episode 4, then Lost in time said Episode 5 but it’s actually Episode 6 as well (it can be used in both of course).
Day of Armageddon has obviously been found along with a small plethora of other clips which judging by that most are the Film sequences they’re originals, and when properly done for Blu Ray will look stunning.
During the Dalek Invasion Earth 2150AD clip There’s a small line cut mid scene, somehow doesn’t break the flow it goes from “there will be no delays” to “these prisoners will be exterminated” cutting a line out in the middle which I think was “nothing can stop us now” was that too much for the film studio perhaps?
Finding the missing episodes of the dalek master plan story could take months or years
Well Episode 2 was recovered in 2004, thanks to a BBC engineer keeping hold of a copy for decades and not being aware of it's value, but I don't think anymore will turn up.
Only 1 tele recorded copy of The Daleks Master Plan (bar episode 7) was made as no foreign broadcaster was interested in screening it. The only country that did show interest was Australia however they ultimately declined due to the stories violent nature (Australia usually cut violence from Doctor Who, in fact some of the only surviving footage from missing stories came from Australian censor cuts, however they couldn't cut Master Plan), and those prints have disappeared. As for episode 7, due to it being the Christmas day episode, it was a disposable part that didn't advance the story so the BBC never made a tele recording of episode 7 for overseas sales so when the master tape was wiped it was gone forever.
Actually the fact we have the 3 surviving episodes at all is a miracle, until the early 80s all the episodes were lost until Episodes 5 and 10 turned up in a Mormon church of all places.

Is the blurring at 21:50 really on the tape? Weird.
I watched the tape someone else uploaded and it wasn't blurry. Either this tape was defective or the user wanted to avoid copyright from the Beeb.

Does anyone know if I can find the show where that Dalek won an award.
There's some videos on CZcams and a few have been hosted by Noel Edmonds, I have a feeling that the award was originally in The Late Late Breakfast Show, and titled The Golden Egg or something similar
