Just some feedback, the base plate has countersunk holes for the countersunk bolts included to install the base plate to the pedal plate on your rig. Doesn't really make sense to use socket head screws to do this.

Thank god someone mentioned it. I was literally dying see them use those socket head screws in countersunk holes!!!! They even showed the bag with the provided countersunk bolts and then didn’t use them!!!!

Hello guys, we didn't use those with our steel rig because the holes on it do not fit 8mm bolts originally. We do use the flat head bolts on our aluminum profile rig (AX80). Sorry for the lack of information.

@@EXTREMESIMRACINGUSA no worries lol. Makes sense if they didn’t fit on your rig.

With Fanatec issues and them not sending my v3 pedals for over a month im cancelling my order and getting these instead, Thank you for such a great video and im sold on these pedals. Probably be about a month until Fanatec actually refunds me but im done with them. Still waiting for my wheel, QR2 Base and wheel sides they have become a joke now

Can you tell me what that nylon ball is for? I got these pedals too, but I don’t have a clue what it’s for. Only thing I can think of is it acts as a buffer to for the lock nut to prevent damage.

That to hold the red but in place preventing it to loose the preload

It’s just to go inside that red nut where the grub screw is. It’s to prevent the grub screw from damaging the threads of the main shaft when you lock it down.
