This might be a silly idea, but i'd love to see you take inspo from male oriented fashion trends/inspo and apply them to your personal style. I think it would be fun and outside the box!
I’ve been wearing dresses over pants for a few years in the summer! Typically a linen crop pant and flowy knee length dress. It’s an absolute must for me to feel cool and comfortable while covering in hot weather!
I have grown to love tucking in my button up shirts on just one side, but it took me some trial and error to make it the most flattering. I would say the way that works the best for me is leaving the majority of the shirt untucked, and leaving a few buttons unbuttoned at the bottom of the shirt (however many for how much of the shirt you're going to tuck in, it will depend on the length of the shirt and the rise of your pants lol.) And then take just the front corner of the side of the shirt with the buttons on it (so the bottom layer of the shirt if that makes sense), and just tuck in that side, about as far back your arm hangs, not much further. I always find that this makes the shirt lay much nicer in the front! Hopefully that makes sense!

I like the interpretation over copying the pinterest outfits! Makes it easier to translate the outfits into real life
I loved the striped sweater/long skirt outfit! It's so much fun seeing how you can pull similar outfits together from your closet, and do them in a way that is more your style.
See when people say they hate dress + pants I get it but since I am from India I totally get it... U need to look up salwar suit/ salwar kurti/ kurti and jeans n then you would definitely realise that ur dress can double up as a tunic if worn the right way...

I really rocked the dresses with jeans trend so hard in the early 2000s. I can’t believe it’s coming back around. I definitely agree with you that it looks a lot better with a more sheer dress.

The second look!! Here’s a tip, button the buttons slightly off, so like, put the buttons through the next hole. Does that make any sense lol ex: the second button would go in the third button hole and not the second
Wow the style of a black T with white collar button up underneath then topped with the black leather jacket… it’s a great idea. I love using inspo photos to splash together new outfits for existing clothes!

I loved the hat! That was my fav. The dress the over jeans was perfect as well as the last outfit.
I love your interpretations of the outfits. To improve the last one I think balancing/capping the black shoes with black sunglasses would do the trick, even if just worn on the head (headband-like ) that it would balance the outfit. She also had the light color socks with a light bag… that idea helps too.
I liked them all. They were different. I'm seeing more baggy paired with baggy outfits too.

Loved the dress and jeans! My favourite outfit was probably the one with the waistcoat (with the button up fully tucked in). I would wear that in a heartbeat! But I’m with you on having trouble pulling off a half-untucked button up. I just can’t figure out how to do it!

I’m so excited for the jeans under skirts/dresses. A couple weeks ago I paired some wide leg jeans under my dresses and felt so chic, comfortable and cute!!
I adore the dress over jeans outfit! I feel like with dress over jeans it's really a hit or miss for me.
Sometimes it ends up looking really mismatched and I don't like it, but I really liked what you wore.
I also think changing up the type of pants work well too. In my culture (nigerian) we have a lot of putfits that read dress over pants but they're matching sets (very common in Indian culture too). So as long as the outfit somehow ties together I'm usually okay with it.
The outfit you did went very well. (Still cringing over the Disney dress over pants era though).

the oversized shirt over long shorts or a skirt just became a wardrobe staple of mine I think, never thought of wearing my oversized shirts untucked like that but I love it!

One time I tried to wear a shirt just half tucked in and my sweet boyfriend ran up to me to block me from everyone’s view and whispered to me that “I accidentally tucked part of my shirt into my pants in the bathroom” and tried to fix it for me before anyone saw 😭 now that’s all I can think of when I try that style.

You need to get a button up that’s more square at the bottom. Yours is more rounded so it looks more awkward but a square one would add a good contrast kind of like colour block

Every time I've tried to do the "French tuck" it never works. NEVER. I just look like a drunken fool. I've finally given up trying. Although--maybe front tucked in, back untucked would work? But one side untucked in the front? NOPE.
