- Since 1931, Panshikar & Co. has been serving Veg Maharashtrian Food to Mumbaikars and they are much known for their fasting dishes like Farali Misal and Upvas Combo Thali alongwith famous Maharshtrian Snacks like Batata Vada, Kothimbir Vadi and Puneri Misal which is a MUST TRY. They also serve popular Maharashtrian beverages like Piyush, Kokum Sharbat, Kairi Panhe and Solkadi. They have recently started a mini meal which is authentic Bharit Bhakri which is available from 11am to 3pm

This panshikar restaurant group gives tasty quality food ,they have many restaurants all across mumbai. Thier pedha,mithai items in girgav near majestic cinema outlet are realy excellent,one of the best in mumbai for mithai purchasing.

I have been visiting this place since last 12 years, puneri misal and farali misal is out of world. People say anybody can make misal but I would say panshikar in dadar serves most authentic misal.

Yes, but sometimes they don't....depends on the owner of the restaurant if he/she is available while we are shooting.

Very very good dishes. Enjoyed. There are two more branches of Panshikars in Dadar (west) , One at Ranade Road & another opp to Hanuman Temple near Kabutarkhana. But wthout reestaurant.
Yes, I have been at the Ranade Road shop earlier, which is a sweet shop.and does not have seating arrangement. The sweets there too are equally good.
The in panshikar is authentic maharashtrian food and i will definitely try kairi panah and piyush, their sweets are also very good...will visit there next week

I have tried this spot many times when I was staying in Vileparle...I really miss it in Pune...all upawas items are really good & authentically prepared...combo upawas thali,I think is newly introduced ...even Piyush what we get here is too good...thanks for sharing...

One thing I forgot,I never saw Phanasachi bhaji in their menu, if they can add, I can go to their place to eat it, all the way from Pune.

It's a great option when u are fasting.....unique 😋😍 I also like the sengdana laddoo just that it was on the sweeter side for my palette. Farali pattice and Mango barfi were nice and different too.
Alka that was "danya cha ladu" it is mostly made in big fast like "Mahashivratri "n "Ashadi Ekadashi" in Mharashtrian house hold...😊

I remember my school days back in 1980s when my mother used to buy Shrikhand from Panshikar at Dadar. Back then we did not have branded stuff and certain food items were associated with certain outlets, so Shrikhand meant only Panshikar.

माझे वडील १९५५ साला पासुन प्रत्येक दत्तजयंती ऊत्सवासाठी ४ किलो छोटे पिवळे पेढे आणि ५ किलो फराळी चिवडा घेऊन येत आहोत. यांच्या फराळी चिवड्यासारखा चिवडा ईतर कोणत्याच दुकानात मिळत नाही. आज २०२३ साली सुद्धा आम्ही याच दुकानातून पेढे आणि फराळी चिवडा आणत असतो.
