Very nice presentation.
The beam shots show the difference and what is the best light for the task.
Please could you consider doing a longer segment for the night shots.
I own the original RC40, and though it is ancient history now at 3500 Lumens it is still impressive due to the over 100000 candela.
It’s always with me when I’m out in the wilds.

Thanks for your feedback. I notice high dropoff rate when the night shots become too long and hardly anybody watches it till the end. Need to find the right balance : )

Great review! I am totally torn. I wanted the 60, but now I like the 80 as well. Anyone that has any good advice, please help.

Intense Spot OR Extreme Flood = Go for LR60R.
Extreme Wide Spot = Go for LR80R

@bewareofthebeam thank you!! I actually ordered the 60 yesterday. I'm sure I will love it. But I will still always love that beam on the 80 -lol.

I have the LR60R. It's a great throw, but the 80R looks to be even better.

Lr60r is not an upgrade to lr80r. Its more big brother of lr40r
