meanwhile Steller blade doesn't have nudity of any kind and nor does it have sex scenes, so why is this bad for this game but not bad for other games?
to be honest there shouldn't be any censorship on either side of the games, both games should allow nudity and sex scenes to their fullest, these are adult games btw, maybe instead of treating every adult game with kid gloves perhaps maybe have some consistency in the releases of your games and stop censoring?

like it's just so dumb. like these people act like the Christion's back in the 90s except they like their degenerate porn and sexuality, but they like to force it on everyone else, if you ask me that's the only message they care about.

@@legacysquid0625 "How can it be their original design when the game was shipped with the previous designs"
Like any project in any field, gaming included, there are deadlines where you just submit what you have if it's considered "ready". In this case the studio probably submitted the certified and tested work (outfits included) that would make it into a gold/master build of Stellar Blade (i.e. the one that gets shipped to retail/digital).
It's possible that the art team that handles the design of Eve's outfits didn't have time to fully complete what some outfits were intended to look like and submitted what could qualify as completed before that deadline and decided to complete the original design as part of the post-launch support.
Gamers see this happen with a ton of games all the time (games that have a "day 1 patch") where something gets altered after it's gone gold which makes this reaction so confusing to so many people.

It didn't technically have nothing to do with it. The Harry Potter/Wizarding World IP is owned by JK Rowling, the original creator. She gets royalties off of Warner Bros. usage of the IP, the details are not known to the public as to whether this is a general royalty payment or if it's on a sale by sale basis or something like that. The boycott was because the game is based off of her IP and therefore even if she herself was not involved directly with the game she still makes royalties off of it selling. So the boycott was to try and stop her from making any money from it. Mind you I was not a supporter of that, but to an extent I understood where they were coming from I just didn't agree, I thought it was stupid and the game not selling would only hurt the developers, not their intended target.

The thing is that if the final outfits is what we were showed from the beginning, literally nobody will complain, because they would have been the outfits adverised and many of the outfits are still revealing, so in substance, it's really not a big deal, but at that point, then why censor at all? And it is censored. In all the outfits that are censored, it's always an added material to the original design and never a change to the actual original "structure" of the design for lack of better words. Like the Bunny swimsuit for example, you can literally see where they censored, because it was done so lazily and last minute that they didn't actually change the swimsuit itself, but added material over the original design to censor it, and this goes with all the censored outfits. And this goes to question, why are there other outfits that aren't censored but more revealing, and I think that goes to show how last minute this actually was. They only censored a few because they couldn't get to more, and the fact that only few are censored and lazily censored at that, to me, kinda suggests that.
I remember that New Game + was going to come out "shortly after" launch, but then it was pushed to launch day, and I believe that was an attempt to soften the blow of the censorship. They didn't just want the patch to be for censorship alone so they packed it together with the new game + that was supposed to come later. I see a lot of fishy stuff around it and It's pretty clear to me that they know what they were doing. They lied or Sony forced them to lie and they continue to act like this was the original design they wanted and anyone with a brain can tell that's BS by just looking at the designs and the fact that 1.0 build still has the OG designs, either way, the result is that they advertised one product and gave us another and that deserves to be shat on, even if I believe that the game is great.
I think censorship in itself is horrible as I hate censorship in 99% of situations, but what makes it worse is the clear double standard towards some games being ok and some not, and the ones not, more often then not, are Eastern made games, and it's pretty blatant.

This doesn't make sense. "They couldn't get to more outfits"???? What???
If big bad Sony wanted the game to be censored, it would be censored to hell and back. The fact that there are more revealing outfits is proof of that. What you guys are actually mad about and have the right to be upset about is the *creative intent* of the developers, not censorship.
The devs have full creative control of all the outfits in game, why? Because they fucking made them. If the intent was "I think we should make Eve a little more modest in this specific outfit, let's change it even though it's last minute" Then that's in their right to do so and fans have a right to critique it afterwards.
The whole new game+ thing doesn't make sense either. That day 1 patch had actual bug fixes, performance fixes, it fixed the Parry timing issue, and etc. It was a lot more than just a "new game+ and let's sneak in the cosmetic changes to soften the blow" patch.
Censorship is horrible, and especially when it affects media, *but this is not one of those times.*
This was a dev team exercising careless use of creative control, because to the public, it looks like you're backtracking when changes are made. It's very loosely false advertising, but it is definitely not censorship. There's no outside force forcing them to make a lingerie change to a fucking bunny suit and almost nothing else. That sounds absurd.

to be honest there shouldn't be any censorship on either side of the games, both games should allow nudity and sex scenes to their fullest, these are adult games btw, maybe instead of treating every adult game with kid gloves perhaps maybe have some consistency in the releases of your games and stop censoring?

idk why purists are even playing these games to be honest lol the games clearly have violence in them but oh the nudity and the idea of that is somehow more evil lol, all i'm saying is there is a reason why the rating system exists, so why don't we utilize it for what it was meant for?

Another thing driving this is sonys double standards for censorship why does one game recieve the censorship when arguably other games have even worst stuff in them (Cyberpunk 2077, Witcher 3, TLOU2, BG3, etc) like who are we supposedly censoring this for? The answer is no one but the DEI minority that don't even buy or play games.

It's an M rated game being censored when we have games like cyberpunk 2077 in the same rating where we can literally change our d-size in character customization and customized how big a character's cleavage and butt is. To me I dont see why they pick and choose to get mad at a game and alter the game but won't touch products of the same category or worse. This happens when you play on closed platforms like Playstation (and Sony isn't exactly known for being customer friendly - if you have watched them in the last 10-20 years you'd know :). On PC there would've been already a mod out that fixes the issue. On of the reasons i play on PC.

I hate this gaming period we're going through... it feels like all it takes is 20 people to cry about something on Twitter and the company instantly folds and does something about it.. What about those of us that just want to enjoy a game the way it was meant to be enjoyed? nah they bow to the few certain people on Twitter for that agenda..

They didn’t censor the gore, the end of that boss fight transitioned into a trailer
The real game goes directly to gameplay ,they reduced it for technical reasons ,the game tend to drop a lot frames when there’s a lot of effect on screen like explosion, retaining blood on clothes would cause more problem.

My main issue is not the changes itself I'm okay with how the game is right now. I have an issue with :
    1. The devs specifically promised the game would be 100% uncensored & used it as a selling point. Then they did a complete U-turn changed things in the game after they got millions of preorder & positive marketing & the game released. This is false marketing & that's why Sony is also offering refunds on Stellar Blade for anyone who wanna return it cuz they got misled into buying it. They know this can form a basis for a class action lawsuit.
    2. These changes are done with a certain intent/agenda in mind. We are not children we can see when devs are genuine & changing something as part of the development process VS when they are being forced by their higher ups & pressured by activist groups & journalists & committees to change things to pander to a specific demographics. I don't like that shit one bit. Seems very controlling & fascist if you ask me how these mobs have so much influence over someone else's art & force them into changing their creative vision just cuz they personally don't like it or find it "more inclusive or diverse" or any of that BS. Seriously F these people they have ruined everything they have ever touched & sucked the fun out of entertainment space.
