Why every hbcu band I watch colorgaurd is in the back at minor high school we are in front and we toss our flag but every college I look at there tosses are pop up compared to our tosses
I cannot believe this,I am so disappointed in AAMU band,they sounded like a high school band,boy time know it has changed cause back in the 90's they were big a hell and they were so loud and good you could hear that they were coming from three streets over,when they came down the street you knew that they were a college no doubt,but now when they came passing bye we said what high school is that they have the same colors as A&M until we realized that it was them,we just shook our heads and said what happened time know it has changed but I'm still glad that the young adults still are keeping the band tradition alive just hoping it builds back up that ugh like it use to be!!!!
Curtis Peoples I agree homie. I marched in the old aamu (mello) so I know what you talking about. Thing is every band director runs their program differently. Mr.Wesley use to have use moving traffic lights but this Mr. Wright is very conservative in my opinion. He use to teach a high school so I think that has a lot to do with it. He hasn't realized that this is a swac COLLEGE yet.
Kenedrick Browning he is doing a fine job because the band is #3 in best hbcu bands in the top five for the past 3 years obviously he’s doing something right.
