7.14 it is true. I'm Sri Lankan. We always do that to get rid of the cucumber bitterness. The only difference is we don't do that to zuchini (cause i never had bitter zuchini) 😅, but the white colour Srilankan style cucumbers cause they are bitter. It actually works.
